Will Nolan run a 3-4 or 4-3 defense?

I saw with the Nolan signing for DC that he has run both a 34 and 43 D. I’m not a huge fan of going back to a 34 but would be open IF we could finally get a true NT. Opinions on this?

Think Lawrence and Smith could be rushers with LVE and maybe bring Lee back for the middle?

I like the idea of playing multiple fronts and having special packages to confuse the offense pre-snap. Nickel defense is pretty much base these days, so be able to run a 4-2-5 and a 3-3-5 and also have something like the NASCAR package the Giants used to run.

Mix it up and don’t be predictable!!!

This would be perfect!

If we can get Gregory back I think he would be a perfect 3-4 pass rusher and Lawrence played some standing up in college with LVE and Smith inside get a NT and a safety and this D could rock.

Who cares as long as we get some wide body run stuffers in the middle.........finally.

Don't care what kind. As long as the defense makes plays and is intense. Less dancing and more big plays. I'm good.

You can have DLaw with his hand on the ground at one end and then have a stand up guy on the other side. That’s what Nolan did in Atlanta.

It’s a 4-3 concept in alignment but one end can be a stand up guy

Yeah Atlanta did that with Beasley, Seahawks have done that with a few guys and so has Carolina. I always felt they should of done that here with Gregory.
