Will Parson's be on a pitch count?

I mean in all seriousness I don’t think any high level player, plays scared. I would think they can’t have that mentality and be successful in the league in the first place.

But the team is coached scared. That's why the 1st team offense will take the field together for the first time this summer in week 1 of the regular season.

That's pathetic.

Yeah. That much is a real concern. I’m not a fan of the “don’t play guys in preseason” thought.

If they’re healthy they should play.

I don't think he'll play every snap, but I don't think it will be a pitch count. Jerry is married to Jaylon and LVE is the second best backer on the team.

I'm OK with Parsons not playing every snap.

I think he may be on some sort of pitch count to start but it won't last long. Hell it may not last 1 game. Once Quinn gets a feel for how much better we are with him on the field it's gonna be hard to take him off.

Time to stop babying these guys. Get him on the field and keep him there.

They better limit him in some way. He'll wear himself down if he's just turned loose.

I can actually see limiting his snap count but different reason from what OP is saying. My concern, as with all rookies is conditioning. They are not used to playing 17 games, especially the NFL-type pace. I think I read/heard Jaylon Smith played 90%+ snaps last season.....I'm not we wanna do that with this kid, at least not his rookie year.

Parsons will be full steam ahead and barring injury will lead the team in snaps this year for front 7 defenders and I'm guessing by a lot

I can see the Cowboys easing Parson's into his first couple games due to the fact that he hasn't played a full game in over a year and just to keep his emotions in check.
Rookies in general have a problem harnessing their enthusiasm and regulating their adrenaline early on. Parson's seems like someone who has the mentality that he wants to do it all and may have a tendency to wear himself out mostly just being over-hyped. I can see Tom Brady and Tampa taking advantage of that aggressiveness. MP will be so jacked up and combining that with being his first full game in a while, he has to be careful not to overextend himself and be all worn out come the 4th quarter. His head will be swimming and his body may be a little in shock adjusting to the speed and power of the game and having to do it for an extensive amount of time.
Once he gets a good feel for the speed and pace of the game, he should be able to be unleashed more and more as the season goes on.
could lock him onto Jaylons pad you know with the workout line ty use in practice, that should slow him down enough LMAO:lmao2:

If they are planning on him being a starter I expect they will play him as they would any starter, and then determine from how it goes if he should continue with a full work load or be scaled back some.
