I've been there for the 1-15 season...the 5-11 seasons...the playoff games we always seem to lose and so forth...as have we all...I think its harmless to ask a simple question about a player. Makes for good talk. I would rather talk about good things instead of chatting about losing in the playoffs and the cowboys playing terrible in December...of which I think is all going to change next year...at least thats what I'm hoping for.
Again, I didn't question your fanhood. You questioned ours because we felt your question was silly.
We're all hoping that next year bears success that we've been missing around here. I fail to see how a discussion about Tony Romo in the Pro Bowl in 2009 is "good talk." We have Free Agency and the Draft that have to happen before we get to that point. We have mini camps and Training Camp that have to happen first. We need to kick off the 2008 season.
Tony could get injured in between now and then. Believe it or not people do get hurt. I'm not saying he will and I certainly am not hoping for it. The Pro Bowl is so far less important than those things in the broad spectrum of success in 2008 that I find the question silly. It simply isn't critical to anything relevant.
