Noticed nobody is wearing 73 in mini camp. Fabini has 00.
The cowboys don't officially retire numbers but nobody has worn the following numbers in a regular season game after those players retired:

12
74
8
22

Will 73 be the next unofficially retired number?

33 & 88 have been worn several times already. Nate Jones and Brett Pierce currently have them. Betcha Fasano ends up with 88.

33 comes first !!!

Ah...I knew we can agree on some things.

Actually liked watching Tony more than Emmitt.

Doubtful... there are already too few numbers in the 70's given the amount of lineman a team carries these days...

I think 12 and 22 are the only truly safe no one will have numbers.

My point is we had players that were just as great but haven't had their numbers retired.

I don't think anybody currently has 89. I would not be surprised at all to see Fansano end up with that number.

It's just so much easier to do that with quarterbacks and runningbacks because there are less of them on the team and thus more numbers for them to choose from. Just for practicality purposes we really can't do that with many 70's numbers.

and yet players such as Jesse Solomon, Anthony Fieldings, Darryl Hardy, Darren Hambrick, Trev Faulk, Keith O'Neil and now Bobby Carpenter have wore No 54 since Randy White retired.

Number 33 has been worn by Eric Brown, Jason Bell and Nate Jones since Dorsett retired.
