Will the Cowboys have an advantage?

I have a great deal to learn when it comes to coach BS. I don't see any advantages the Cowboys may have on offense.

MM was a good coach early in his career but became too enamored with the WCO and didn’t seem capable of pivoting to what wins games in the 21st century.
Well I liked him as a head coach but I've never seen a coach so slow out of the gate to try to force his offense the 1st half of the 1st 2 years as an offensive coordinator he sucked he waited until things become bad to start thinking outside his big box the only big box he was thinking of was that Burger King.lol

Again I liked him as a head coach but as an OC absolutely clueless on how to utilize players that need to be integrated into packages you know draw up things to make the players you have more of a weapon turpin vaugn, And really even Tony Pollard his franchise tag year here being pushed into a three down back type of role kind of ruined his advantages that we had with him he's a solid running back in that situation but we didn't want to take away all his burst and speed....

First 4 games of the season:

Filthy
Gnats
Da Bears
Cheese Heads.

The Cowboys have a brand new coaching staff position wise pretty much from top to bottom. New defensive schemes, new offensive schemes and new special teams. Sure Shotty was the OC last year but that was in name only. MM ran the Texas Toast offense which only gave lip service to the running game. Shotty has come out the gate saying that’s going to change.

So I think the Cowboys will have at least a little bit of an advantage early on. They’ll need it for sure.

Let’s hope!
Last year, we really didn't have the players to run the ball too much. 2 TD Dowdle isn't really a bell cow type. And we were pretty void behind him.

As far as Pollard goes, the injury in the San Fran game pretty much assured he'd never be the same player again.

It doesn't assure anything really and you heard that guy named AD? There are a lot more players than you think for every player you say after they got injured would never be the same I have examples that they are exactly the same every player is different but I'm telling you let's just use that as an example then why after a guy gets an injury like that you pay him $11 million franchise and then make him a three down back you could have brought him along and put him in the same role he was always in and you couldn't use Rico as your main guy on rundowns dirty yard guy and let Tony do what Tony does best and I saw a couple plays with the Titans where he still had that burst you can't have the burst all the time if you're now a 3 down back I don't care about the injury if you want to use that excuse then again Mike McCarthy screwed that all up...

Tonys best moments where when his legs were fresh and he came in as a change of pace back 3rd down guy and the only time you run him through the tackles is when it was a surprise a quick hit or boom stirred a whole long one it wasn't just the injury it was leaning on him as the main guy instead of leave him in a rotation...

Jerry really hosed that up thinking Zeke would be able to help.

Oh yea ... ever had an elbow caught between a lineman and back going different directions. Then had a cast applied to that arm, AFTER the season was over? Injuries aren't character issues or cheater elements by the player,

They aren't stuck on the sick, lame, and lazy formation every first formation.

"you do you", what a stupid saying. lmao

That's telling me off, huh?
Stupid is as stupid does,
He doesn't care that there is no right way to do the wrong think. That is ethics, but still stinks when the only message given is insult. He's missing something ... oh yea, football and hiding behind an internet name.

Leave me alone, I'm doing me!

lmao. Education is important.
No, those things are your labels and excuses. Disagreement is still on the table...sick, lame, and lazy, to the sick call formation.

He volunteered, did YOU stand up?

Going 2-2 is the best case scenario for those first 4 games.....just based on the veterans on the rosters.

Nobody knows what the rookies on any team will bring yet
As a fan...crap, 4-0.

As a fan...crap, 4-0.
The 2-2 was actually optimistic because the 2nd win would be against the Bears and if anybody thinks that their new HC is inferior to ours they're delusional.......

Moderation in most things is essential but if a fan thinks we're going 4-0, I won't try to change their mind.

People keep receipts here.

My greatest issue is how susceptible the Cowboys have become, recently, to injuries.

Every third or fourth year, this team gets thoroughly devastated by injuries

It's not just the frequency, It's almost a pattern. It's like the injury bug is a virus that searches out the Cowboys strongest squads and then decimates them.

Hide your All-Pros, Cowboys, because as soon as he is spotted by the injury bug, he's a goner.

This is why I wouldn't rely on any specific area of the team as an advantage before the season even starts. The Cowboys have to wait for the preseason dust to settle before they can even find out who is still standing.

LOL...Last season our advantage was supposed to be a quality DE rotation of Parsons, D-Law, Sam Williams, and Kneeland rushing the quarterback while the All-Pro tandem of big-play CBs Diggs and Bland took advantage of a pressured QB's errant throws.

That advantage became a joke before kickoff on opening day.

Lock your heels, and keep your own arse clean, hero. I'm way to far along to pay attention to sexual encounters and those are still legal in a state or two and in other countries. Know what a shot record is or the Services paying for brothels in the occupation of Japan?

I was a governmental employee for over 50 years, care to squeek up again, son. Unlike YOUR gestures, I still have your back. Our motto was leave no man behind. That is real world when rooting for YOUR chosen team. Three National Defense Ribbons here...now explain clearing a .50 cal. and did you brasso your drain cover for inspection. What about measurements of all folded items. Bounce a quarter? That implied the wrongs in the current 'commander in chief' now, who is illegal due to possessing a Federal Conviction. Even notice?

I'm not in service. My wife and I drink twice a year. Moonshine can be legally purchased. There is a wine derived similar drink.

I would prefer a chilled Don Padron with a salt shaker or in a martini.

I'm married with great grand children. Let's enjoy some football now. I may disagree but reasoned and for cause. Have a nice day now!
Did you just equate how you fan the cowboys to how you brotherhood your fellow service people? Hmmm

Fixed it, brother
Roll over, eat crap, and die in THAT order. Twinkle Toes crapp. Own up as to value. Or just shut up and keep crying as you go into the sunset. Ballet, I don't think. Worry about your own and low class pie hole.

I once drove a tank to Hawaii to go see Rockport. Was that good of me? I saw all kinds of little fishes.

When I was little I got kicked out of the Boy Scouts for eating Brownies.

How come you did not run for President? lol...you could not do 10 pushup right today. But, I bet you sure can squat a lot, huh, Sarge.
Maxed the PT test 10 straight years and didn't have a single problem administering lockup only a year ago.

Oh, the call is still answered. What, you can't...but at the blowhole you can feed colored fish with a loaf of bread.

Stayed at the Hale Koa as a Soldier of the Year. I tried to cash the trip in and give to the Emergency Relief.

Do you leg press 1250 pounds? The busted Drill Sergeant matched me in Korea.

I swore to support both domestic and foreign concerns to the letter. You don't? I swore in 6 times.

Karankawa Lodge from here. Also National Honor Society three years; All District football. All region 7 years and All State 3 years on the flute. You calling me gay?

Regional karate team undefeated and a member of our combat football team in the Championship Game.

By the way, what was your first thought the first time that you moved 500 in the bench? MYSELF, I saw stars.

Ever flown a jet or a chopper door gunner? I also was an instructor in armor and Senior NCO. You?

In theory, yes there is a potential advantage. But it’s up the the coaches and players to take full advantage of it. I also don’t think the advantage lasts longer than the first game or two…not four games
