Will the Cowboys Root for the Eagles to Win against the Giants?

Will I be rooting for the Eagles?

Ummm... no.

The Eagles and the Redsk*ns can go to hell for all I care.

I may say that I'd rather see Philly win the game now, but on game day we'll see if the feeling still holds.

In previous years I would have had a tougher time of it.

But with McNabb out I stopped caring about the Eagles a while ago (aside from the normal general hatred), and the way the Giants have been such whiny little (female dogs) this year I would love nothing better than Shockey and company to miss the playoffs after all the mouth running.

So yeah. Go Eagles.

I said it.

:bang2:

I think I would rather the Eagles win since we have them the next week.

Regardless of the outcome of the Falcons versus the Cowboys game, the impact from Eagles versus Giants game will be felt across the NFC-East.

Do Cowboy fans want the Eagles to win (or if you'd prefer ...the Giants to lose!)? If so, what's your rationale for wanting the Giants to lose; the Giants to win. Do you think it matters; why not.

If the Eagles win (hopefully) our record will improve to 8-6; giving us a great shot for either a wildcard ...or, a playoff birth and the NFC-East Champs (should we beat you again this year). Without our probowl QB we are underdogs going Into every game (except for perhaps our final game with the Falcons ...and depending on the outcome of our previous 2 games).

Now for some of you fans who don't read threads thoroughly, I'll say this ...

I'm not saying the Eagles will win against the Giants (althought I hope they do), and I'm not saying the Eagles will win against the Cowboys (although I hope they do) ...all I'm asking is for your interpretation of outcomes over the next 3 games (including our last game against the Falcons).

What's your read ...

I'll definitely be pulling for the Eagles and Garcia over the Giants...if McNabb were still playing, I'd have to pull for the Giants because the Eagles would be too dangerous. Right now, I'd rather see the Eagles in the playoffs than the Giants.

That is a big 10-4. I don't want to see Strahan come back until we play them next year. Really, I didn't think the Eagles played that good a game on Sunday, at least the offense. I think they had one pick retuirned for a TD, and maybe another TO deep in Skins territory. I have to think Garcia will find a way back to his old self, and be very average again.

I will be rooting for Philadelphia for the simple fact that New York is a more dangerous team than them.

It's in Dallas' interest for Philly to beat hte Giants because Dallas still has Philly on their schedule and can personally deliver them a loss. That way, if Philly beats the Giants then the Giants tick-down one slot on the W/L column; and even though Philly would tick-up one slot by beating NY, Dallas can tick Philly back down when they play. So the end-result of that would be push, and these two teams can worry more about knawing at each other than at Dallas.

I also think NY is by far the harder opponent for Dallas to handle. based on matchups, I think NY is better constructed than Philly is to beat Dallas, while Dallas is better constructed to beat Philly than NY. So NY is a bigger threat to Dallas than Philly is. So even from this perspective, it's in Dallas' interest for Philly to beat hte Giants.

Rooting for the Eagirls and hoping the Giants lose are two different things.

I'll be hoping the Giants lose...

Go Cowboys~

As a general rule - Never root for the Eagles. Never!

I tried to say it but my mouth dried up, it starting burning, I got acid reflux, and when I stop thinking about it all those things went away:rolleyes: . So I will say I am for the Giants losing;) . Whew! That went alright.:

i want the eagles to win so i dont have to hear any crap from the giants fans in my area

Can't see the eagles winning in ny.

Here's the real question. Who is PT pulling for?

You know if we beat Atlanta that will almost certainly put you guys in a postion to lose the next two games on the road and still get the last wildcard with a win against Atlanta at home the last week of season.

Bet you didn't realize that!

If need be, I will be pulling for Dallas to make the playoffs above the Eagles & NYG.

Texas is the greatest state in the Union!

See you in the NFC Championship game. You will be there.

I know! What's up with this invasion! When it started last week, I was kinda surprised. Didn't know the saints had fans. OK they do. You crushed us. Ok come back Monday and gloat, fine!

WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE? I thought there was a lot on the line Sunday nite with the #2 seed at stake. I had no idea that in addition to all the other negatives and indignities that a loss would bring, we also have you for good.

Is this part of our punishment?

LOL... Are we like the ugly that's in love with your pretty sister and won't go away?

Today's only Tuesday. Are we any worse than Eagle/NYG/Skin fans?

saintsfanman, your alright, theres still just some cowboys fans still ill over the loss, im ill too, but we cant blame the saints, the cowboys just stunk up the place, they should have played better , so im upset with the way they played . the saints just did what they hoped to do and thats win. you cant blame them for that. saints have a good team i hope we play you again in the nfc championship game, it would be a much better game im sure of that.

oh, by the way , i'll be rooting for the eagles , i dont mean no disrespect to the eagles w/o mcnabb, but the giants getting healthy i beleive are dangerous. the boys are to though, but i think the giants can be far more dangerous than the eagles.
