Careful what you wish for. They could always way over pay a couple free agents and give up high future draft picks as well. Joey Galloway and Roy Williams (wr) come to mind.

It's going to tell you what we already know. The Cowboys aren't going to overpay for free agents when FA starts.

They will play it smart and enter the market when the overpaying settles down. Hopefully they won't wait until there is nothing left but marginal talent.
