Will Tony Pollard take the RB1 position for good Sunday?

Will Pollard be the starter for the rest of the season?

This game will forever be known as "The Tony Pollard Audition Game."

What an incredible opportunity for the young dual threat player. With Malik Davis as the #2, I think we'll see Pollard get at least 85% of the snaps.

He has a chance to make a massive impact week 8.

22 carries for 120 yards and 5 catches for 40 yards with 2 total touchdowns.

Will Pollard become the new starter after week 8?

No. Zeke will get his touches when healthy. Pollard is the more dynamic back, but it should be a fun game to see if he can carry the majority of carries with a high level of success. Hope the Boys are creative.

Pollard finally has his opportunity to show if he deserves more carries than Zeke, but I have a hard time imagining his smaller body frame will hold up the full-time carries and pounding on his body for 4 quarters on a weekly basis.

Zeke is our guy! We will need him in the second half of the season so he will be given a two-week break(including the bye week) to recover from a sprained knee. Pollard will be the beneficiary while Zeke is absent but we all know his ability to pick up the blitz is putrid. So look for the Bears defense to take advantage of that.

I voted "no". Pollard is a game breaking change of pace back but he's not a work horse and he's a liability in protection. We're going to miss Zeke this week and I'm not a huge fan of Zeke but he's the back I trust on our team the most on running and passing plays. Hopefully Moore can scheme a way to use Pollard in the short passing game and limit the times he picks up blitzes. JMHO

He’s missed some pretty big blocks in the past and had opportunities like this before, only to fade away like a lot of players do in the Kellen Moore offense

I know we have good Friday, and a black Friday. We have a black Monday and a movie called black Sunday I believe. But I never heard of good Sunday.

All Sundays are good during football season.

We don't need a work horse in our pass pass offense, this assumption is getting so old
