We all know how well he is doing, how many think he will make the pro bowl as the starter?

Who are your 3 NFC QBs?

Romo, Favre and Tavarius Jackson...just seeing if you were paying attention.

Romo will start Favre will be behind him and Hasselbeck and Eli Manning will duel in a popularity contest to go to the pro bowl by default.

Well, at this point, you've got to wonder who in the NFC is playing better than Romo.

And it's nobody. Favre would probably constitute a close second. Campbell? Ha.

Favre didn't even finish among the NFC's top five quarterback in the fan voting last season, so he might not get a lot of votes just from name recognition.

If he continues to play well, Romo is a lock as the starting QB in the pro bowl. Even on one of the Giants fan forums, he and then Favre are considered the main guys but they hoping Eli makes it also. Also seen in 1-2 sports mags that Romo is a lock unless of course his play deteriorates.

Right now the top-10 QBs in the NFC (according to my rating system) are:

1. T Romo
2. J Garcia
3. B Favre
4. E Manning
5. K Warner
6. M Hasselbeck
7. J Campbell
8. B Griese
9. J Kitna
10. D McNabb

I would guess that Romo would be the starter with Favre and Garcia as the backups. Garcia could start if he can stay healthy and continue to play at the level he has but that would be very difficult to do.

His stats after 7 games: 133 of 189 for 1504 yards, 70.4%, 7.96 avg. 7 TDs and 0 INTS and he is 4-3 as a starter. Those are pretty darn impressive but I can't see him continuing at that pace all year.

Favre is a media darling again this year with Chris Berman & Co. drooling all over him. He will get in no matter how he plays the rest of the season. If not for the phenomenal season Tom Brady is having he would be touted as the best QB in the league by them.

No doubt if the Pro Bowl were held at mid-season, it would be Romo-Favre-Manning. There's no one in the NFC right now who is even close to those three. Romo has better stats and is playing better football than Favre, but Favre could win the popularity contest. Time will tell.

If Romo continues to play like he has been then he should be the starter.

Yeah but he broke the records this season and his team is actually playing well, so he'll get in.

Of course, they will likely collapse over the next month. He'll make the pro bowl, but I doubt he starts.

I agree with Favre sarting. Rather deserved or not. Then Romo. Not sure about Eli, but he may be the 3rd, just because no other NFC QB is that much better right now. Maybe Kitna from Detroit. Haven't looked at the stats to see.

Unless Favre starts throwing a bunch of picks like he's known to do, Romo will likely be the #2 guy...
