My lack of confidence stems from Marinellis awful draft input year after year. I hope I'm dead wrong, but he's probably another Taco.

I'll say yes, he will turn the corner. I think he will have a good season if he stays healthy and buys into Dan Quinn's philosophy and system.

He was the only player we had early on, that was penetrating, getting off blocks, and getting into opposition backfield on occasion -before he unfortunately got the ACL tear vs Giants.

So he's showing great signs of improvement. Maybe he received more confidence in this coaching staff (even from the fired Tomsula) than what Hill did from
Marinelli, who lost confidence and sat him most of the season.

I tend to believe we saw that in Hill was advanced improvement and commitment-
Jury is out to how good he can be, and how much he will recover to previous form with that ACL knee. Let him stay healthy and we'll know by season's end.

He had flashes, which is promising. But he has to put it all together. Its tough for young DL for the most part in the NFL, year one they are lighter and "weaker" than NFL OL. Second year they are playing heavier and what made them intriguing in college such as explosiveness or quickness is gone or not as much. Hopefully by year 3 he has refined his technique to bring it all together.

All signs point toward Hill being a rotational situational pass rusher. It's doubtful that he'll ever be a starter. Not a bad player if we'd taken him in the 5th.
