He was the only player we had early on, that was penetrating, getting off blocks, and getting into opposition backfield on occasion -before he unfortunately got the ACL tear vs Giants.
So he's showing great signs of improvement. Maybe he received more confidence in this coaching staff (even from the fired Tomsula) than what Hill did from
Marinelli, who lost confidence and sat him most of the season.
I tend to believe we saw that in Hill was advanced improvement and commitment-
Jury is out to how good he can be, and how much he will recover to previous form with that ACL knee. Let him stay healthy and we'll know by season's end.
