Will TY Hilton really help?

I wouldn't expect much out of him right away. Seems more like an insurance policy - remember Gallup getting injured late last season?

If something happened to one of our starters, does anyone want Tolbert to be the replacement? I'm glad to have Hilton, even if he's not what he used to be.

Do you think TY Hilton will make a difference?
I say yes , as the 3rd-4th option, he as good or better then brown and once he gets feel for our Playbook and Dak gets used to him, for sure our 3rd best option. also insurance if CD or lamb get nicked..not something you count on but could be big pay here and there to add to our offense, OBJ rally wasn't going to be much more then that anyway.

you know if the eagles made these moves we have the last week, big look we like our guys they are trying to get better, we get the sarcastic whatever type responses. we added few defenders and TY to make sure we have some options should injuries hit or payers are playing poorly.

odd but its true.

I believe he will, especially if he has most of his speed.
But he is a savvy vet player. He will know how to get open and hopefully downfield to stretch defenses.
agree

maybe he knows where to sit down and cut off his route in those 2 deep Texan type ds and not drift on routes or let defender get in front of him..thats what vets bring. he could help CD and Gallup understand that.

Assuming he still has his speed he will help. He'd be our fastest WR for sure, a dependable vet that runs great routes and has the speed to take the top off a defense
why not vet not having heavy snaps hes being asked to do will still have speed for limited reps./. see what DJ did to us in the TG Raider game last year,,hes 34 TY is 33 and in limited action they can go full speed on every route, he should be healthy and fresh, as long as hes coming in like Brown does, should be able to go full speed.

I think that eagle's game with 77 back, Washington has another game under his belt, TY gets some action sunday, and our OL might be improved as A HOLE, we are better to Challenge the eagles.

The fact that Hilton has been available all season makes you wonder if he still has anything left. It’s been a while since he’s played football. He’s 33 years old and has had a number of injuries. I’m somewhat skeptical he’s going to make much of a difference, but his reputation could draw coverage to him freeing up other receivers. We’ll see if he can make it the rest of the season healthy.

so does it make you wonder when Sheagles makes those moves, not from the responses we see here, they are applauded for it, they just brought back an old safety as well,.. i mean this place was upset when didnt go get Suh or Joseph and yet the eagles did ,they were also both were sitting, OBJ sitting ..

most of these vets cant handle 17 game rigors as heavy snap starter and were coming off injury or down year, but with only 4 to go plus the playoffs , they can be fresh, healthy, inspired to be on a playoff team, and go all out for 4-7 games in limited snaps.

I believe he will help because he gives them a smaller guy who can make quick cuts.

All of their other WRs have similar skill sets, plus he still has some speed.

Dak has had some problems this season getting on the same page with the receivers he has. It’s going to be interesting to see how long it takes for him to gain some chemistry with Hilton. If a QB and receiver aren’t on the same page that could lead to more INT’s for Dak.

If OBJ is used right, then yes, he can help.
He doesn't need to come in and understand the entire playbook, just give him a handful of routes that he already knows and he can be used effectively as a decoy to scheme others into single coverage.
If OBJ was being brought in to be WR1 or 2, then we should all be experiencing that sinking feeling, but as the wr3-wr4, he pulls coverage with him and if he doesn't then Dak can
take advantage of OBJ in single coverage which is not a bad thing.
Hilton and OBJ just give this offense vet options, and they don't have to be in their prime to accomplish that.
