Will TY Hilton really help?

Do you think TY Hilton will make a difference?

Who knows? I just know that he was an amazing WR in his prime. Maybe he's still got something. At the very least he's probably still a good WR.

Rather than asking the question, have some damn patience and wait to find out. They have been bragging about how ready he is to get on the field so it shouldn't be a long wait. No one knows what he can do so why ask for uneducated answers? We'll all find out together if Hilton can help. I see Dak connecting deep with this guy early and often in the Jags game but I'm an optimistic homer.

..Hellzzzz yezzz! This guy will help Dak reinvent himself.

His presence has to be acknowledged. That means CD, Gallup, Shultz, TP, etc. will have one on one.
I think CeeDee will get most of the attention, and TY will get more one on ones. (TY very much!)

He seems to have alligator arms at times when he could have made a difference in games. He tends to get scared in traffic.
That's ridiculous. The end zone drop last week shows that he's willing to go up for the ball even when he knows he's going to get torpedoed. He dropped the ball, but after he got drilled, then slammed to the ground, and even then if he wasn't so high up in the air to catch it, his second foot would've touched for the TD.

He also said he really didn’t miss football which makes you wonder why he even decided to come back. He had a pretty significant neck injury last season. I honestly think no one was that interested and neither was he in continuing his career. I guess he figured there’s not many games left in the season and he might have an opportunity at a ring.
He must've seen that his kids are obnoxious when you have to be around them too long.

Asking for opinions on this is much more productive than so many other threads. For anyone who doesn't know much about TY, it's an opportunity to learn and get an idea of whether they have reason to be excited or not.

If he teaches the rook that much than maybe offer him the WR coach position next season.

Here's hoping the coaches convince him to listen and commit their ideas to memory. It's not much to ask.

The spotlight is intense for some rooks.
Wanted to see more from Tolbert, but too soon to judge the rook at this point.
Maybe he begins to find his niche, something he can start providing soon.

True -- they all have their battles and their demons to face. It's a tough sport at every level, especially in the pros.

True but its not too late for rookie Tolbert, similar to Turp in respects to if they both start clicking post season then they were both worth the wait.
Don't believe Washington is out of the equation just yet.

I can see that, also. James Washington has potential to give this team a lift in the midst of battle. He has downfield speed that pays off.

Peeps will laugh, but we need to see Wahington in space, we haven't even barely had a glimpse yet.
When we get a glimpse of Washington with the ball in his hands then we might be reevaluating mass opinion on him.
Washington has indeed been late to the party but its never too late to dance.
He has massive YAC potential if he could ever wake up, if the light can finally come on.
Not saying it happens, but a little confidence can change a player's entire career.

I wonder if they are eventually trying to replace Noah Brown as a starter. TY does bring a veteran to the core. A guy who had a couple thousand yard receiving years before. Maybe he runs correct or cleaner routes idk. Or maybe he is there just incase someone gets hurt during the run. IDK.

Other people's opinions about a player that no one knows about when it comes to his current status don't inform anyone about the player. We just have to wait and see. Give him opportunities to show his abilities. We certainly remember the player he used to be and want to see him replicate that high performance for our team. I suspect he will give this passing attack the kind of boast that Amari Cooper did when he first came aboard.
