Sure -- but I do think that when you have one of the NFL's best career FG guys you do need to give him some slack and allow him to get back in a rhythm. If this were Suisham, it would be a different story.

Agreed I just don't know how much more slack he will be given. Parcells did not seem thrilled with Vandy in training camp and clearly last night he was not happy about Vandy. Hopefully Vandy is working hard in practice to get this corrected because with his missed kicks and messed up additude I don't see him getting to much slack from Parcells.

You forgot C.

C. His kicking could cost us. I just hope its not in playoffs. I would be non the happier if he was ONLY kicking PAT's and we were scoring enough to NOT NEED his kicks.

Could!

So could Romo's occasional bad decision, TO's drops, Witten's false starts, and Henry's PIs.

So we should replace all of them?

Regarding the slack -- I think we'd see another kicker brought in BUT Vandy remaining on the roster -- if it came to that he'd have to show Bill in practice that he was right. I don't think cutting him is even on the table.

Big difference is... the guys you mentioned will have chances to redeem themselve. They have redeemed themselves.

Its different for a kicker. You know that.

He may get only one chance in a game. But you go ahead and compare it to ther positions. I will watch you post that dribble.

Are you even responding to my posts? You don't seem able to follow the argument. Seriously, I'm worried about you, your posts suggest some form of organic brain disorder. You might want to give your neurologist a visit.

I hope that is not the case but I think Vandy job is on the line if he continues as he has. I don't think Parcells will allow Vandy and his lack or work ethic to effect this team. I think Vandy has to show his worth to this team and quickly. Right now we sacrifice in yardage off his kickoffs because he suppose to be an outstanding kicker and right now we are not getting big FG. I do think if this continues Dallas could and would release him, I don't think he is beyond that. I think if he misses his kicks in this week game that Dallas will start bringing in players over the 11 days we have off.

I think that missing those two kicks against his old team -- and having some of his former teammates talk crap to him about it could be a real turning point for him. He was clearly embarrased by his performance. Maybe he'll do somethign about it.

I hope your right. I don't want to see him fail I just want our kicker hitting the kicks and if Vandy can't get it turned around then I would hope they will work out players and try and find someone who can. Fortunately there are more chances at finding one with guys who were in NFLE, CFL and Arena. I know some will laugh about it but we are talking kickers not RB, QB or any other position player we are talking about kicking a ball between goal post. Lets just hope Vandy starts doing the job Jerry brought him here to do.

I wasn't spinning anything. I didn't even have a point or counterpoint. Just thought that was a very funny malaprop and gave you some credit for it.

When I skewer people I don't need a crutch like that. I thought it was genuinely funny.

I've never lowered myself to that level to even give it a try. I have literally never tried to put one through the uprights, not even in practice or pick up games or playing catch with friends.

I consider that dirty.

Absolutely not, Mick.

Why kickers and punters like Hos don't get along is beyond me. I mean, you always see them on the sidelines together.

Nope. But I'd like nothing more than to be on a return team and get a chance to block one of them sawed off chain smoking midgets. Just one real good clean shot.

Free of charge.

It's been too long.
