Even Barber at 100%, it is clear that Choice should be starting and Marion in short yardage/4th quarter pounding the rock.

But this franchise is always a year behind...cutting Roy Williams (safety) took too long, firing Campo, letting Julius Jones go, and the inevitable Wade being fired will be a year too late.

Pull the damn trigger...start Choice...I rest my case below:

Tashard Choice is a BEAST. This guy goes out every time and just gets it done. While I was sitting there today a Miami Hurricane fan tapped me on the shoulder and said "man you guys did good getting him. I used to hate that guy. He ran all over us in college". If Red knows what's good he will come out of the bye week with Choice starting, MB3 pulling 3rd down and red zone duty, & Felix assuming more of a Reggie Bush type role. You can never put your finger on a situation and say with confidence that you know Reggie won't be getting the ball. That's what Felix should be fore us. KR, PR, Slot, WR, TB... It should all be open game for Felix. Choice at starting RB will provide stability in the backfield.

Choice looked pretty good today like he always does, but Barber is still hobbled. When Barber is healthy, I say we start him, bring Choice off the bench, throw Felix in there to throw the defense off, then come back with Barber to close it out. That is a winning combination.

Garret needs to get more creative with Felix. Use him in the slot. He should return punts and kicks for us. We still don't get him the ball in space enough. Why we don't run more screens to Felix is beyond me.

It makes to much sense to play him, that's why Opie will never do it...

Barber is a good power runner with great heart and a little bit of speed. He doesn't have good vision or agility in the hole. It was a big mistake to give him that big contract and an even bigger mistake to continue to take carries away from Choice and Felix who are both much better runners and receivers. Felix does need to work on his blitz pickup quite a bit more to get more playing time, though.

All season, Barber has not used his stiff arm OR make a single defender pay the price for tackling him. He runs like a very poor man's Franco Harris running straight for the sidelines to avoid being tackled at all costs. Did you see how many times he ran straight to the side line today? Garrett needs to pull his head out.

Not with Jason Garrett as your Offensive Coordinator.

Jason Garrett thought Brad Johnson was a great addition.

Jason Garrett went an entire game without giving Felix Jones a carry.

Jason Garrett is jut now finding out how good Miles Austin is.

Jason Garrett continued to trot Marion Barber on the field today, even though it was clear that Tashard Choice was a better option.

don't worry. We got Choice and Felix for at least 4 yrs. We got time to decide what to do with Barber. Play all of them....max your RB use with each.

It should be 100% obvious to anyone with a brain and a set of eyes that Choice is the best OVERALL back we have. He's a combination of Barber and Felix. He's probably the best receiver our of he backfield and he can run with power and agility. Just because Barber has the big contract doesn't mean he should get the most carries. Bledsoe made a lot more money than Romo did in 2006, but guess who replaced who as the starter. Choice needs to be the "feature" back, if you want to call it that. Regardless, he needs to be more involved.

Yes he is, but Choice is just as good if not better. Plus, he can make defenders miss rather than trying to run over them all the time. Don't get me wrong, I love Barber, but I'm not so sure that Choice isn't our best option.

You guys are crazy. A) He's hurt and B) he's the most complete back on the roster when it comes to doing all the little things an NFL back has to do.

That's even before the fact that he is one of toughest sob's on a roster in need of tough sob's and hey, he's actually a pretty good running back.

Some of these posts remind me when people wanted to bench a guy by the name of Smith for some knucklehead named Hambrick. While I believe Choice should get a few more touches,I do believe it's premature to discuss discarding Barber.

Barber's best production was when he was the closer and that was behind a mediocre player in Julius Jones. He should go back to that role.

I don't think anyone (I know I'm not) is talking about getting rid of Barber. I'm talking about giving Choice more carries and getting him more involved in the game plan. He's earned it and I think he's the most COMPLETE back we have. He can do a lot of things and we should take advantage of it. The truth is, when they're all healthy we have an embarrassment of riches at the RB position. We need to make sure we use them.

Yet Choice only had 8 carries today. Another head scratcher from Jason Garrett.

Exactly. Nobody is saying to discard Barber just put him where he excels, closer and short yardage situations. Choice brings so much more to the game it's getting ridiculous to even debate it anymore....
