i think that its a great problem to have i just wanted to know how other people feel about this. Lets not forget we also have TO and Witten. How will we split the balls between our 3 backs?

Usually your 3rd string back doesn't touch the ball in a game. He's more a "special teams ace"

YES.

The objective should be to keep Barber as fresh as possible in the 4th qurater and this should mean Choice should get 1 or 2 series.

We will have three-headed monster.

When MBII is resting, we could still run a 2 back formation with Jones/Choice, with Felix motioning out before the snap.

Lots of options we have available. Depth is never a problem.

And also, lets be real here, Choice may be a good back, but he's still a 4th round rookie. He'll get chances, but they will be limited.

Talking about a rookie like hes God before he even steps onto a field with NFL vets isn't healthy.

I think they're talking like he has tremendous upside. I haven't heard them praise choice like he is the second coming of Barry Sanders.

You are correct....this is exactly the type of problems a team wants to have

A special teams ace doesn't necessarily mean he has to be a return man. He will be on kickoffs and such.

Hopefully he can be a Keith Davis type for us.

We'll have enough balls for Barber and Felix, and that's all we need really. Anything Choice gets is a bonus.

I like the thought of RB's actually earning their carries.

The formula is simple: he who does the best gets the most carries.

I see nothing wrong with that.

If Emmitt would have had some decent backups they would have got some of his carries. Well, we have the depth now so no one will be asked or allowed to carry the load. We should have fresher legs in January.

I'm confused, are some of you doubting what Tashard Choice can do?
Now I have seen him play a time or three,(when they beat my golden Domersand when they lost to them the season before last) and I have seen highlights.

Choice is a very good RB and he will make a veryvery good NFL RB, and whether people want to admit it or not he will push MB3, if MB3 signs the contract that is offered him, if not then he will be here to shine even more when MB3 moves on. I do not know if the staff was thinking of that when we drafted him, of if they just did what they said, took the BPA on the board at that time, is was a great pick.

One person posted that he is a 4th rd pick, it sounded like they had forgotten that MB3 was a 4th rd pick as well.

Yes, I was a big advocate of Ray Rice, I still wish we would have drafted him, and I will keep a close eye on his career.

I always wanted a RB that could step in just in case Barber got injured or left. I love the Jones pick too, and I also believe Jones can carry the load, we have 3 starting RBs, Choice will get on the field more than just on special teams.

It's not doubt, he's going to be the third back and hasn't played a down in the NFL. The league is full of college stars that are just role players, Choice may be good or not, but I'm skeptical of all rookies until they've proved something.

They need to run the ball at least 30 times every game. With Barber getting about 20, Jones should get about 8-10 and choice should get 3-5 if he's lucky because Thompson never carried the ball

Remember part of what a back has to do is pick-up the blitz and pass protect. Can either or these rookies pass protect in the NFL right away? I know Parcells was stubborn, but remember how many backs we have had with "potential" who couldn't make it on the field because they couldn't figure out who to block?

If choice is any good we will go with the three headed monster-this will reduce pressure on romo.

Garrett will make sure everyone gets their share of balls. I'm hoping one of the young receivers will emerge in addition to the group everyone has mentioned.
