I hear your arguments. They may even be correct, but we still have to cut to 53 players. Someone who we really want to keep has to go. I'm just sayin .... ya never know.

We drafted a kicker for touchbacks, but Romo was a free agent at one time too, so what is your point? Does Beuhler's leg cease to exist when it is time to kick a field goal? How much difference is there between the two kickers on field goal percentage, at various distances, and is that difference worth using a roster spot for? Beuhler is going to stick on this roster, but someone is going to lose a spot because of him.

He's a below averge fieldgoal kicker. His skill is kicking touchbacks, that's why he was drafted... Kickoffs and fieldgoals are different skill sets.

If it was so easy to do, there would be alot of kickers that do all three, kickoff, fieldgoals and punt... why do you think there isn't, because each is a different skill level. Folk is a probowl kicker, but his kickoffs are horrible, Beuhler is great kickoffs and average at best as a fielfgoal kicker.

Someone is going to lose a roster spot, but it isn't going to be a fulback, it will probably be a receiver or an offensive linemen

I can't get over the people who want to trade Folk. Give me a break, we finally have a reliable kicker and you people want to trade him? Have you guys totally forgotten about the days of Jose Cortez and Vanderjagt? Let's be real here.

Saying "I hope they keep Folk" is like saying "I hope they keep Witten."

About as pointless and absurd.

In the 14 games he was active last season, Anderson played in 28% of the offensive snaps.

Even taking into consideration having Bennett on the field more this season than last, I think we keep a fullback.

I don't think it's a lock that Anderson is on this team's opening day roster - not by a longshot.

First, his health is a factor.

The phasing out of the fullback position is another.

The changing face of special teams is a third factor.

And the inevitable roster cruch could be another.

Take the Stanback/Ogletree competition for the 5th receiver spot.

If the team doesn't feel they could get 'Tree to the practice squad, they may keep 6 receivers and cut Anderson.

I don't think Anderson's play is so great that the team couldn't think of doing without him.

Where's the problem? How are we tight anywhere? Heck, I even had to add one more corner and one more safety to my original numbers projection just to get up to 53. And that's even keeping 10 o-linemen instead of the 9 people have been talking about.
