No way. Romo's mobility masked a lot of the o-line's deficiencies. Nothing's "fixed." Colombo is adequate, not Erik Williams.

When you earn Offensive Player of the Week honors for pounding the crap out of Reggie White, then that should tell you something.

Big E was a rare bird my friend. You are better off keeping a Colombo, with good effectiveness and some of Big E's nasty streak, than to go looking elsewhere with a chance of landing a Rob Petitti.

We don't need to take that risk.

Remember this about Colombo - 2006 was his first full season in quite awhile. He is still in his 20s and is destined to get better.

I would much rather roll the dice with Colombo.

I'm not. I'm more worried about Big E'esque money for Colombo. Can't we find someone in the second round for a fraction of the price? I wouldn't have trusted Bill to find that guy (duh), but maybe Ireland can.

Therefore we must sign columbo. Especially considering the record this club has had drafting tackles the last 10 years. And Wade is a D guy- not likely to be all that great summing up O linemen.

Yet you gotta think...Gurode really was not worth Gurode money if you compare him to some of the other top centers.

People might as well get used to inflated contracts for mediocre players...with the cap money what it is and the weak FA class it is just going to be the norm.

Can't say I like it, but that is what it is going to be.

We are going to see some crazy contracts for a few players this year that do not deserve the money they get.

We will see OGs getting money that is similar or better than Steve Hutchinson even though they are but 1/2 the player he is.
