So... I am confused? Are we running the WCO or not? some of it, a mix....GCO(Garrett Coast Offense)

Sounds to me like a mix and I was unaware of that. I like GCO but there's no Coast. It doesn't quite fit.

I had no idea Garrett worked with Gruden. It does sound like a hybrid offense that will be difficult to characterize. A young Garrett has very diverse esperiences, it looks like he's ready to put them to use. He's certainly got enough pieces to play with.

My guess is Jason offense will be a more vertical offense and will utilize the TE a lot.

Can TO run a good slant route and use his big body to shield the db.

It also would not surprise me that Garret also adds in some WCO type wrinkles mixed in because he has been around a lot of coaches. Remember he also spent time in New York as a backup QB.

He has a lot of history to draw on

WCO is more of a philosophy, than any specific play. It's not like you only run WR screens in a WCO, or you only run slants in a WCO, or only run streak patterns in a run dominant offense. It's what you try to take advantage of, and how often you try to do so.

Everyone runs the same routes. Not everyone runs them the same amount.
