Will Zach Thomas mirror Westbrook?

Westbrook is superb at playing "stay at home" pass block and then sliding under for a dump and massive yac gainer - I'm not so sure I like that matchup AFTER the LOS.

Zach thomas is the most intriguing aspect of this entire game.

I wish spencer was healthy. I think we are going to have a ton of movement up front and the secondary taking all the deep stuff away.

With that I expect the team to try and force mcnabb to hold the ball while wanting to throw deep and either A taking a sack, B throwing it short or C throwing it away. I get the impression from watching mcnabb forever that he likes to look deep first and throw deep and will get impatient and make mistakes when having to fit balls into tight spots.

In any case, I expect thomas to be the guy taking care of the throwing it short part.

I really think this is the week we see zach thomas shine and stand out. His skillset is unique and a perfect fit for the matchup, therefore I think that he is the most interesting part of this game...

just my two cents.

yeah - I agree, but ZT got faked out a few times in the open field last week; the Eagles may be salivating at that matchup.

They'll probably have a bunch of players switch off on Westbrook. It makes the defense more unpredictable.

Thats what im thinking, keep em guessin

Pacman on Westbrook would be best matchup for us...IMO

I'm with Duck: I like Pac to try and spy him. zach thomas is a good player don't get me wrong, but it would be ugly if he tried to consistently cover BW. Not good at all. Pac, Scandrick, Henry, and Burnett a little too. Gotta hit him and make him pay.
