I think what the question really revolved around was your overuse of the word Turd in describing McGahee multiple times. What has he done to earn that moniker in your opinion?

come on people...read the freaking news

why do you think Buffalo cant wait to rid themselves of him?

ok, if he is this dominating player that some of you clearly believe, why does Buffalo want so bad to get rid of him, and seem to want so little in return?

it isnt like they have a Thurman Thomas or pre murder OJ sitting behind him there

David

Who knows....why did buffalo draft JP losman?

Why did they let Moulds go.....

Why did they let Bledsoe go.....

This is buffalo were talking about....

I think the Losman move was stupid

but letting Moulds and Bledsoe go cant be argued with much, and they did get something for Moulds, who is definitely on thw downside

So you just looked up a career box score in 2 minutes and make a random assumption on McGahee? You still have not stated why you are calling him a "turd" even though multiple people have asked.

The major reasons I heard the bills shopping mcgahee is he has 1 year left on his deal and he has publicly stated that he would prefer playing in hot weather. How does this make him a turd with attitude problems?

The bills offense has been putrid, it's amazing he even has numbers similar to Julius with him facing 8 in the box 9 out of 10 runs and still producing huge games.

hard working kid who just came off a solid yr...stuck in an offensive system that might not be best suited to his style...has good speed...pretty fair receiver...good blocker...

David
and you could pretty much say the same thing in willis's favor......playing in a new system gives players fresh starts......this kid could use one..

He trashed the team and the city. He does not have many friends where he plays because of it. Personally I think he tried to force his way out by talking negatively about the franchise and city, but regardless Buffalo is looking to trade a player who want out.

If JJ trashes the team and city and asks to be traded, wouldn't it be something you look into doing?

Yet people want this player on the team. Someone that openly trashes his team and the city he plays in.

Yep, sounds like a winner to me.

The Bills have been disappointed in McGahee for conducting most of his offseason workouts in his native Miami, rather than traveling to the team's Orchard Park headquarters. McGahee also created a stir last month, when he was quoted in a magazine article suggesting the NFL consider moving the Bills to Toronto.

Wow the guy really is a turd isn't he.

Maybe the real reason Buffalo wants to trade him;

Buffalo officials seem to have soured on McGahee, who has not asked to be traded, but who is entering the final year of his contract in 2007. McGahee could depart as a free agent after the 2007 season and the Bills, wary of the possibility he could exit with them getting nothing in return, have taken a active stance in trying to find him a new home.

Seems the Bills are trying hard to trade the guy simply because they want to ensure they get something in return rather then just watching him leave after next season and get nothing in return.

C'mon is this the best you can come up with for calling the guy a turd? :laugh1:

Might as well, we do have the King of Turds in T.O. which means Turd Oversized.

If you say a man is a turd, at least be specific. Not vague.
If he is a turd, I'd like to know why. Just curious.

I could cut and paste the articles, and still you guys would spin away because you're convinced McGahee is "the man"

so, why bother?

Have heard that he has like 3 paternity suits against him right now. He hates Buffalo (not exactly suprising). Probably also does not see that the team is really improving much and wants to be on a winner. That said, it has been rumored that he is lazy as regards learning plays- and does not seem to put real effort into blocking, picking up blitzes, etc. Considering all the positive buzz he had when he came into the league, it seems like he really has gone down the tubes.
