What are we doing here? Those with an IQ over 80 know the title is asking if Romo would comeback and not wish casting for a Prescott injury. Granted, not the best wording but c'mon people. This offseason is running out of topics to talk about.
The wording is intentionally misleading and it's disgusting. I'm confused to why the OP feels the need to ride this Dak hate schtick to the ground....

I'm guessing he has an out clause in his contract in the event he wants to play.

Lets hope he stays in the booth.

I do not want to see him go out on a stretcher again.
CBS is giving a guy with no experience one of the best jobs in sports broadcasting. Why would they give him an out clause? He didn't have that much leverage.

Where you see "Dak hate schtick", I see a bored writer reaching for any excuse to talk about the prospect of Romo coming back. It is an intentional desperate ploy for material in the off season.

It's fun to speculate, but unless Dak were to go down in the pre-season, I just don't see Romo bailing on CBS during the season, especially since they moved out for Romo...Romo has to much class to do that.

I hope that all of this "What if/when Dak gets hurt?" talk doesn't send a negative vibration out to the universe and it gets spoken into existence. The off season can't get lost soon enough.

I'm pretty certain Wade Wilson didn't intend his comment to be anything negative concerning Dak. Rather than that, it's probably more about his idea of what the fans like to discuss. As far as I'm concerned, it's not something I consider to be too likely to begin with. I think It's likely that Tony will stick with his new gig with CBS and be content to do so. Seems to me that he'd choose to keep his commitment with them.

Because the more times that Dak does well, and proves him wrong, the more often he's reminded that he didn't know as much as he wants everyone to believe he knows.

He's fully invested in the failure of Dak now. He won't be happy if Dak doesn't crash and burn. It's his MO.

We Romo fans are 100% behind Dak. He's the man now.

Yup. Wife asked me over the weekend "So how are you gonna be on the Cowboys this year? You seemed upset about Tony."

I told her, look, I was upset and made peace with Tony being gone. Its time for Dak to not be a one year wonder and step up.

Anybody can get hurt, but it's unlikely a young, sturdy buck like Dak is going to get injured long term. If he does, Romo will be back. You can book it. What could get interesting is if Dallas is floating around .500 and Dak is struggling and costing the team games. He's still very young, so that's possible.

Romo simply doesn't want to start over somewhere else. This is the team he is tied to whether he's played his last game or not. I think that was the reason for his ultimate decision.

It's just like last year, but instead of hanging on the sideline, Romo is hanging out in the broadcast booth a phone call away.

Yeah! Let's get back to debating what shade of green the pants are!
