We have to continually get younger, so I could see letting Cooper go.

Don't get me wrong. I am all in favor of trading Cooper. But I think the Cowboys are waiting to restructure his deal. Maybe I am wrong and the Cowboys will be forced to get rid of him to save CAP space, but I think DLaw goes before Cooper.

Aren't Gallup and Wilson free agents after this year? The more Wilson shines the less likely the Cowboys can afford to keep him. This will be like the Chido - Brown decision only with Wilson and Noah Brown. And the Cowboys will keep Noah Brown because he will be less expensive. Gallup and Wilson will play for new teams in 2022.

As for Cooper, Maybe they can afford to keep Gallup and Wilson if they trade Cooper. But my guess is they will restructure Cooper's deal to free up CAP space rather than trade him.

Wilson is going to be considerably cheaper than Gallup.

I like Wilson and he is a good #4 WR, but the guy makes one or two plays a game. Why dont we wait until he actually goes off for one of these?

I think he's going to make either Gallup or Cooper expendable. No, I am not saying he's better than Cooper but when the Cowboys survey their cap situation, it may just make more sense to keep Wilson around on a much cheaper deal than pay Gallup a big contract or have Cooper eating up $20MM in cap space.

I agree. They seem to have no trouble finding good ones as of late. And Prescott seems to not have a real clear favorite as he'll throw to whoever.

Ced is a good WR, ready to see more deep balls going his way because he has good ball tracking skills. Very versatile player.

Gallup, Ced, n Noah...as long as Stephen signs at least 1 of them they'll be ok. Honestly, I don't think Jerry, Stephen n McClay are that bold to trade Cooper.
