Packer's MO is to score and score early. They went up 7-0 quick on both Detroit and the Giants.

If the Cowboys win the coin-toss, do you want Garrett to choose getting the ball first OR deferring?

I always want the ball coming out of half time. I don't think games are ever won in the opening kick off but coming out of half time if you are trailing you have a opportunity to cut the lead and if you are winning you have a chance to extend your lead. In my view even if GB opens with a score on the opening drive I know there is still 3 plus qrts to play.

This is my general thought as well, however, part of me would love the Cowboys to start out with a long, grinding, 12-13 play, 8 minute drive ending in a TD.

true but the there is still a vast majority of the game left to play. If you go in at half leading by 7 or tied they have the chance to tie the game or take the lead. If you go in tied or up by 7 you have a chance to take the lead or extend the lead by 2 scores. For me I just see a bigger advantage getting the ball in the 2nd half as opposed to the opening kick off. Just a personal perspective

Although I like the ball coming out of the half I think it is more important we get the ball first and begin manhandling them, killing a good 8 minutes or so off the clock while demoralizing thier number 1 ranked run defense on the way to 7. Obviously that is best case scenario but I think you play for that. It seemed to do wonders against the Bengals.

i love playing defense first, especially at home. Its not what this team does however. I love having the ball to start the third quarter and i feel its the key possession of the game.

Dallas has elected to get the ball. They set the tone and devour the cheese

Start with the ball. Take the crowd out of the game by imposing the OL's will on the defense from the first minute to set the tone while Rodgers is forced to watch for half a quarter.

Take the ball first.

The crowd will be amped up after Favre gets his Hall of Fame ring at halftime. Set the tone early with the offense, and make Green Bay chase you.

Ball control offenses need the ball and playing behind is not optimum.

did not seem to deter us vs San Fran who was up 14 yet was still over 3 qrts left to play. GB is not going to panic if they get down by 7 in the opening drive, GB and Rodgers are too experienced for that.
