Packer's MO is to score and score early. They went up 7-0 quick on both Detroit and the Giants.
If the Cowboys win the coin-toss, do you want Garrett to choose getting the ball first OR deferring?
I agree generally.I always want the ball coming out of half time. I don't think games are ever won in the opening kick off but coming out of half time if you are trailing you have a opportunity to cut the lead and if you are winning you have a chance to extend your lead. In my view even if GB opens with a score on the opening drive I know there is still 3 plus qrts to play.

This is my general thought as well, however, part of me would love the Cowboys to start out with a long, grinding, 12-13 play, 8 minute drive ending in a TD.
Dallas has elected to get the ball. They set the tone and devour the cheesePacker's MO is to score and score early. They went up 7-0 quick on both Detroit and the Giants.

Ball control offenses need the ball and playing behind is not optimum.
