You're entitled to your opinion .. but you're 100% wrong.. Thing is.. I think you know you're wrong but enjoy getting people to respond to this tripe. Dak has considerably higher passer rating.. has won more games (despite playing fewer) and has his team atop his division.. again.. If you think Wentz has played consistently well then you haven't been watching very closely or you just see what you wanna see. Either way.. Dak is better by a country mile and their won/loss record both this year and over their careers bears that out. Wentz is being told to turn around and hand off more than he is throwing it these days.. Reich is protecting him from himself.. which is simply good coaching..
Facts are that Wentz this season had benefited from what fans always claim that Dak benefits from. which is a solid to great running game. The narrative is that Dak doesn't do well without Zeke or a good running game helping him out and that Wentz doesn't need a running game or as much help and can do it by himself. But if you look at the best seasons that Wentz has had, including in 2017, it's when he is on a team who for that season has a top 5 running back or running game going. He had a top 5 one in 2017 and when he didn't in 2018, he was 5-6.
Now that he has Jonathan Taylor, he is having perhaps the best season he has had since 2017. And the Colts are a potential playoff team in large part due to Jonathan Taylor. Wentz has put together some solid games this season, but also has had subpar games. like the game he threw for just 57 yards in. So the whole idea of Wentz not needing a run game or as much help as Dak needs is false. Not going to deny that Dak does better when the offense is more balanced and the run game is working. But, he isn't the only QB who does better with a solid running game.
There was also some stat that showed how the Eagles had a winning record with Wentz, when they leaned more on the run game. So Wentz hasn't been the type of QB who can consistently win and play well, when the ball is placed more in his hands over the running game, despite what some may think about his ability to "carry" teams more than Dak can.
