Window Closing?

Is this team window closing? Think about it... Martin, Hitchens, Irving and D Law are set to be FA''s after this season. Can this team afford these guys and I don't recall anyone else waiting in the wing. This team needs to win now! I knew we wasn't going to beat the Eagles last night but the rest of the schedule should be manageable without Zeke, Tryon and Lee but our coaching staff is lacking.

I do think there will be substantial changes next season.

I could see Witten retiring and Dez being moved / cut.

On defense, they'll likely tag D-Law, however, that will hamper their ability to be a big player in FA.

A solid organization doesn't concern itself with windows. It competes, year in and year out, as players come and go. Unfortunately, the Cowboys haven't had a solid organization since Jimmy Johnson left. Hmmm...I wonder why?

A window of having a pool of good players that can actually contribute. This isn't about one player. I think the last 3 to 4 years this team talent level has been good. We can't resign everyone but we don't have any young guys waiting.

Oh that’s not true. We went 13-3 last year and were a few plays from the NFC Championship game.

We lost two of our three games early in the season without Sean Lee.

We just cannot overcome the loss of Lee, Smith and Zeke.

If we had decent coaching, we’d be in the playoffs every year.

Martin will be re-signed, Irving is restricted, Lawrence will be signed or franchised, Hitchens will be signed.

The issue is Dez is becoming a liability, Dak looks average at best, Witten is old, and Lee is breaking down.

This team needs a huge splash in free agency and the draft.
