Winner in AT&T Stadium This Weekend

I am glad the kids get to play there & all that but I still can't figure out how it would be profitable.

Who's promoting the event? Do y'all have some organization like our Louisiana High School Athletic Association? If so, they probably pay to use the facility which is more profitable to Jerry than allowing the stadium to sit unused for the weekend. A little profit is better than none.

I live in GA so I don't know.

I'm no accountant either but I would think in a 90k capacity stadium to have an event that doesn't even begin to fill the stadium it would be more expensive to have the stadium open. Electricity. Water. Security. And all that. But anyway I've tossed all that out before & I'm sure it'll be a great memory for all the teams involved.

And besides I can't stand Jerry. I'm fine with him losing money! Haha.

haha!! I agree. He probably gets a nice tax write-off or something though. I can't see he would do it without getting something out of it.

Good point on the electricity, water, security, etc. I don't know how they do it; we (LA) just had our HS championships in the Superdome last weekend. And I don't work the concession stands anymore (my boys are all out of high school AND college now...yay!)

Pretty much everyone is taking their shot at the Cowboys.... other NFL teams, NBA teams and now 4A High School Football teams. So embarrassing, this team is consistently reaching new lows.....
