Lot easier winning back to back road games when the crowd is filled with screaming Cowboy fans

Up to them to prove me wrong, when I see that many 9er fans in the stands and expect to see many saint fans the proof is in the pudding. Fans back and support their teams hell or high water but that is just my view

I think we all need to accept the fact that though most tickets are sold to fans, most fans also can't afford to simply buy their season tickets. Therefore they sell as many as they can to recoup their money and go to the games they want to most. Who are going to be the people most in the market for those tickets? The answer is visiting team's fans. Not just our stadium, just about every stadium this is now going to be the case. The NFL Owners have priced their home crowds out of attendance.

Look at how well the Cowboys travel. Well, we're not alone. I don't expect other teams to have huge attendance if their team sucks, but if the fans are excited, I expect them to scoop up the tickets, and honestly I cannot and will not blame those who have to sell them to make ends meet.

I know of a guy who has two sets of season tickets. He sells one set at a markup to try and pay for both sets, so he can attend every game he chooses to. I cannot blame him for selling the 2nd set to a Saints fan. No one should.

In a perfect world only Cowboys fans would buy them and we'd buy up all the visiting sites too. I don't remember the world being perfect. I remember it as dog eat dog. If I lived in the DFW area, I'd probably do it too.

I agree somewhat but not to the extend I saw in the 9ers game. When players like Melton have to ask fans to cheer to come to the game then that is pretty sad.

All he's asking for is for him to lay out the criteria for what says a QB deserves to play in the NFL. He doesn't want a general "Because I think they suck" response. He's looking for him to lay out some hard criteria as to what allows for a guy to be playing in the NFL and which ones don't deserve to.

And as for the second part that's pretty easy. If those guys don't deserve to play in the NFL, for whatever reason the other poster has for making those claims, then obviously general fans shouldn't be talking about the NFL cause 99.999% of the general NFL fans don't know 1/10th the amount of what it takes to do something in the NFL and yet post on message forums daily like they're some football genius.

You know, that's fine and all, but it's just not realistic. We dominated the fans in Tennessee and St. Louis. We do every time we come to AZ. Just about everywhere we go.

The 49ers have had a good football team and it's just not surprising to me that they are traveling well. They did last week here in AZ. If there are tickets for sale, you have to expect their fans are going to want them more than anyone else if they live in that area. You're going to see it in most stadiums around the NFL from now on. Like I said, the owners have priced the local fans out of the game. And let's be real honest here, the restaurants, hotels, airlines, and car rental places in Dallas and other NFL cities are going to benefit a lot from this.

We can't be so narrow minded as to think only our fans travel well, and that our fans should just sell tickets to our own fans. That's naive.

So tickets are expensive but 9er fans can afford them? Yes I know other fans go to our home games always have and always will but to the extent that was seen vs 9ers no I'm sorry claiming they are too expensive well they were not that expensive for opposing fans to attend in those numbers. This is not being naive fact is if this team was winning more Cowboy fans would be showing up that has been proven time and again over the years. The down time of the 80's it was not uncommon to see large crowds for the opposing team at Texas Stadium once Dallas was winning more Cowboy fans showed up. Even at that Dallas fans are seldom loud, Places like Cleveland and KC as well as many others do not have a hard time getting loud, I have gone to many games where you felt you were at a play not a football game

No, people hungry to go to a game can afford them, and whether we choose to like it or not, the fact of the matter is I pay more money than the season ticket holder when I buy my tickets to see the Cowboys play the Cardinals or Chargers (the 2 venues nearest to me) and so do 49er, Saints, Packers, Steelers, or any other fan who choose to attend a game in Cowboys Stadium.

So, when you are a season ticket holder and you can sell your $50 ticket for $150 it pays for 3 games of your 8 season games. I can't fault that person for selling the tickets. A successful franchise like the 49ers is going to have more anxious fans than say a Jaguars fan will be. If the team is popular, you need to accept the fact that a lot of their fans are going to try and buy tickets. A lot of tickets will go to guys like you and me who do not live in the DFW area but want to be there for a game. But the vast majority sold will not. That is the real world whether we want to admit it or not.

If you are a season ticket holder and you know that a visiting team travels well, like the Packers, you're going to jack up your ticket prices on the secondary market any chance you can.

We see it every week when we are on the road, but don't understand it when it happens to us? Come on Dooms, you're way smarter than the average reactionary fan. You know deep down you're going to see popular teams fans buy up tickets at Cowboys Stadium until we are virtually unbeatable and everyone is dying to see every game.

I know when people get excited about the Cowboys they will show. Sorry I don't share your feeling. Again yes there will always been opposing fans at games always have been but winning and people being excited makes a difference. Opposing fans go to GB game but to the extent where they closely outnumber the home fans.

Like I said Dooms, in a perfect world we have fans excited enough about the team to want to be there over selling their tickets, and every team we play has fans who want to sell theirs.

It isn't a perfect world, and what you saw with 49ers fans doesn't just happen in Dallas, it happens everywhere because as I said, the owners (all 32 of them) have priced the local fans out of the games for the most part. How many people can afford to pay season ticket prices and not sell some of their tickets? Not many.

You do not have to agree with me, but you know I am being realistic and am right.

No I don't I have been to many home games of the Cowboys and I have seen opposing fans there not to that extent. Saying people sale their tickets sure they do but when the numbers for opposing fans are close to home fans that is poor. You can spin it how you choose, I also know that if Dallas beats NO you will start to see a change as more people will start to get excited and wanting to go to games. This is nothing new.

Of course there will be a change. Fans are fair weather in this day and age. We see it all the time.

I just don't think you should buy season tickets if you're going to turn around and sell some of them to fans of the other team in order to be able to afford them. Just don't buy them, get the NFL Ticket, and spring for the game or three each season you feel you really can't miss. Don't put another team's fan's butt in your seat and then turn around and tell me you couldn't afford not to.

that is what I posted to begin with. lol However it is not just this day and age. Last few years with Landry there was a drop off even blackouts, many opposing fans attending games. All of a sudden we are SB contenders and Cowboy fans came back in droves. Anyone can say they are a Cowboys fan show it.

Did you see/hear the Carolina/Pixburg game Sunday night? The Stealers were much louder than the home team. And well represented.
