Did you see/hear the Carolina/Pixburg game Sunday night? The Stealers were much louder than the home team. And well represented.

Never said it did not happen at other places then again I don't think Carolina sells as much merchandise or has as big of a following even when they are winning.

I decided to go backwards in our History to check on how many times we have had back to back road games and won the first one, thus creating a chance for back to back road wins. Here's what I found.

1962, failed.
1964. success with actually 3 straight road wins. Huge accomplishment in my book.
1966, success with the 2nd and 3rd games of a 3 game road stretch. Lost the first though. Still back to back road wins.
1967, failed.
1968, success.
1969, success in 3 straight and failure later in the year.
1971, success to open the season.
1972, failure.
1974, failure.
1975, success & failure same year.
1976, success, but lost a 3rd straight.
1978, failure and success.
1979, success to open the season.
1980, failure times three.1983, success and failure.
1984, failure times two.
1985, success.
1986, failure times two.

So, let's start with the greatest of them all, Coach Landry. 26 chances in his 29 years here. He won the first game of a back to back road stretch. He won 11 and lost 15.

42%

1992, failed.
1993, success.

Jimmy Johnson 1-1 in those opportunities.

1994, failed.
1995, success with one caveat, bye week in between.
1997, failed.

Barry was 1-2.

Chan and Dave were 0-0.

2003, success with one caveat, bye week in between. Odd fact, both games were in New York. Failure later in the year.
2005, failure.
2006, failure times two.

The Big Tuna, 1-4.

2007, two success and one failure.
2009, failure and success.

Wade was 3-2.

2012, failure.
2013, failure.
2014, success.

Garrett is 1-2.

So the overall count for this is 18-26. 44 times in their History the Cowboys have opened with a road win and followed it with another road game. That is 41% overall.

I can't speak or think for you, but my appreciation for what this team just did grew. Now I would very much like to add a 3rd straight win to the tally. We dat.

I agree that beating New Orleans would be a nice, confidence-building 3 game run...RUN THE BALL!!!!!

that is what I posted to begin with. lol However it is not just this day and age. Last few years with Landry there was a drop off even blackouts, many opposing fans attending games. All of a sudden we are SB contenders and Cowboy fans came back in droves. Anyone can say they are a Cowboys fan show it.

Dooms, how do they show it? By not selling their tickets to fans of other teams? All that does is hurt themselves financially. Where the anger should be pointed is at the NFL itself. The owners in particular. They have priced the game above the family. With parking, concessions, and tickets, you cannot take a family of 4 to every game. I would love it if that were not true, but it is reality and we need to understand why and how it happens. There is nothing Jerry Jones can do to stop it from happening. The team can if they become so good no one wants to miss a game and fewer tickets are available where those who do sell them can be pickier.

All he's asking for is for him to lay out the criteria for what says a QB deserves to play in the NFL. He doesn't want a general "Because I think they suck" response. He's looking for him to lay out some hard criteria as to what allows for a guy to be playing in the NFL and which ones don't deserve to.

And as for the second part that's pretty easy. If those guys don't deserve to play in the NFL, for whatever reason the other poster has for making those claims, then obviously general fans shouldn't be talking about the NFL cause 99.999% of the general NFL fans don't know 1/10th the amount of what it takes to do something in the NFL and yet post on message forums daily like they're some football genius.

Get the first part, the second part was the head scratcher and your explaination doesn't help. I know you think it likely explains it perfectly but this is a message board and America. We can pretty much have an opinion on anything we want. It makes no sense in the format we are all participating in. It's an opinion disagree, don't think it measures up, dismiss it and move on. Jmo and you can dismiss it as well.
