The adjustment needed can't be done here. Not now.
Must be tough for you to follow this team then. That adjustment you want isn’t happening

And I’m not certain that fixes anything but fan dissatisfaction

Well, if the Cardinals had 180 yards rushing in first half and 40 in 2nd half, does this not at least give some representation of adjustments being made?
At the half, yes.
Would've been nice during the first half.

I feel for the fans that have yet to see this franchise succeed. That said they are far from a franchise that hasnt acheived success. I root for the cubbies and it was 108 years in between championships and it feels good when it happens. we arent even the longest in the NFL.

This is where coaching really comes in. Garrett's teams would completely fold after a game like this.

How will they respond to adversity?

Last time they won, the internet didn't exist as a usable medium.

People had pagers, not cell phones.

Monica Lewinsky hadn't happened yet.

Jerry was in his early 50s. McCarthy was 32. Dak was 2.

Gangsta's Paradise was the #1 song.
Nobody will miss you.

A lot of people are jumping ship to root for KC. And just think...............they have Mahomes!!!!

make an art exhibit at the stadium and they will come, sell jerseys and they will come. Be named the Cowboys and never win anything, and they will come. The haters will come just to laugh at the Cowboys.
You sound like you've had a few had semi-Cowboys-related business callings that just didn't work out.

The adjustments are going back to what was working with Thomas and Bell. They have the hot hand,.imo,.until further notice. And earned it after 8 quarters in first two games.

naw, this is what reality is. This is an entertainment venue. This is not a sport anymore, those days are long gone. This is a business. Some fans haven't figured this out yet. shrugs.WWENFL

Typical Arlington Jonesboys fan post.

When you have stability at ownership, leadership at head coach, leadership at QB you can consistently challenge for championships every year. Where have you been from 1960-1995. You run to win, pass to score, and defense wins championships.

If all the aforementioned is in place, you win at home, and win in your division, you will get in the playoffs consistently every year. See what use to be the Dallas Cowboys (1960-1995), the Pittsburgh Steelers (1970-present), and the New England Patriots (2000-2021).

This is not rocket science.

actually its a typical i dont get excited over crap like some fans do any longer. outside of the patriots everything else you mentioned is pre salary cap and the cowboys managed things much better then. Skelator hasnt put together the best rosters after salary cap. and I believe it was the hershel trade that got him his 3 championships.

again its hard to win in this league period.

Its hard if your owner is the GM and the defacto Head Coach. Steelers have won pre and post salary cap. The 49ers have been to the Super Bowl pre and post salary cap. Even the Bengals have gone to a Super Bowl pre and post salary cap. KC and Philly has done it with and without Andy Reid. NY Giants and Seattle have done the same.

What Dallas Cowboys fans have gone through since 1996 has no excuse. Winning is not that hard in the NFL when you are actually committed to it and not as Jerry Dumbo GM Jones said to just being relevant.

You don't make adjustments for blown assignments.

There's nothing schematic that would have changed the first long Dobbs run, for instance. There was an unblocked defender in the backfield (Parsons) who simply blew his assignment. That's the type of thing that happened all night.
I think one of the adjustments that could be made is to attempt to have Parsons read the play before 100% committing to the pass rush. I said this before, and it was received as well as sour milk, but Parson will become a one trick pony if he cannot react to plays quicker. Is his unrelenting commitment to sacks the result of his style of play or what the coaches want...who knows?
But getting gashed for large chunk of yardage but leading the team in sacks is kind of counter intuitive. He needs to develop a complete game, which I hope will come in time.

I don’t disagree about skelator. If your a sb or bust fan then this may not be the team to follow but if your like me and love the boys it’s hard to change and I won’t

I’ve just decided back when Romo was still qb that this team isn’t getting me uptight any longer

I enjoy the ride. If it ends in a big playoff run fine if not I’ll still enjoy it

It’s entertainment to me I got no sweat in the game

We need to make one certain adjustment or none of the other adjustments matter.

Jerry was basicly through after the off season and won't be very active again until after the playoffs...it's all on McCarthy as to accountability. It's his accountability now.
