Last time they won, the internet didn't exist as a usable medium.

People had pagers, not cell phones.

Monica Lewinsky hadn't happened yet.

Jerry was in his early 50s. McCarthy was 32. Dak was 2.

Gangsta's Paradise was the #1 song.
Tekken 3 wasn't even out yet.

naw, this is what reality is. This is an entertainment venue. This is not a sport anymore, those days are long gone. This is a business. Some fans haven't figured this out yet. shrugs.WWENFL
I have a hard time buying this, only because in a business as massive as the NFL there is no way this wouldn't have gotten out. Some referee or older player or a coach would have seen their chance for fame/infamy by now to be the one that brought the whole thing crashing down.

With the Cowboys, I temper my expectations. From each game, to division, to playoffs and beyond.
Notice how most are penciling San Fran and Philly in the division championship and Superbowl. Now, the Cowboys will move down another peg, due to the Lions mauling the Packers.

The Cowboys got a two games award for dominating two NFL teams, but the Cardinals put them right back on track as the "Just wait Cowboys." The Cowboys are not the only team that has ever suffered a bad loss. They are just more news worthy. "Former Cowboys ride into Texas!" Click, click, click

I think one of the adjustments that could be made is to attempt to have Parsons read the play before 100% committing to the pass rush. I said this before, and it was received as well as sour milk, but Parson will become a one trick pony if he cannot react to plays quicker. Is his unrelenting commitment to sacks the result of his style of play or what the coaches want...who knows?
But getting gashed for large chunk of yardage but leading the team in sacks is kind of counter intuitive. He needs to develop a complete game, which I hope will come in time.
This is like saying Randy Moss is a great WR, but he needs to be a better blockers to me a more complete player.

You shouldn't be trying to change a single thing with Micah. People are so overreactive to one game.

Ok. Then don't change anything with Micah's game and let teams run on his side. You don't think other teams will try running at him? Some people are reluctant to change.

I wonder how many Chiefs fans kept making that excuse/whine in 2019 looking back at 1969?

The answer is none I know, and my late Dad's entire half of the family is from Missouri. Did they lament the drought? Sure. But they didn't constantly hammer on the length of time since the last ring as a reason not to expect every season to be different.

I'm as tired as anyone but having half my family be Chiefs fans has given me a bit of perspective, especially since they had a solid and respected ownership that entire time, one that I'd expect most Cowboys fans to, rightly, consider superior to Jones.

Let them run there. The idea that Micah is a poor run defender is absurd, and the idea that it can overcome the way he can wreck a passing offense is totally misguided.
