Can the Cowboys go 8-0 to end the regular season? They currently stand at 2-0 and will probably move to 3-0 later today, leaving them with 5 games to play.
1. Away - New York Giants - G-Men are heading in the wrong direction right now. Their injuries on "D" should allow for the Cowboys to run on them.
2. Home - New Orleans Saints - They've lost 2 in a row and their defense stinks! Not getting into a scoring battle with them is key.
3. Away - Atlanta Falcons - The Birds are 5-5 and the key here is shutting down Vick and Dunn's feet and a "W" is easily obtainable.
4. Home - Philadelphia Eagles - McWabbleBall (McNabb) is out for the season, we held Garcia to a (2) QB rating a couple years back and they have no running game. But, the Eagles D is still solid. If Dallas can get into the endzone twice this should be an easy "W"
5. Home - Detroit Lions - Worst team in football on both sides of the ball. Dallas should be able to not try and still beat this team.
My take is that 8-0 is very obtainable... I think the difference between going 8-0 and 6-2 is going to be the difference between having a Super Bowl team and a playoff team.
