Washington is without Shawn Springs and will be starting Carlos Rogers who got burnt badly several times by a very average offense last week. Their other starter is Mike Rumph :lmao2: :lmao: :lmao2: :lmao:

They will either be without Portis completely, or he will see limited action, and T.J. Duckett will be getting most of the carries. Duckett is slow and big, which plays into the hands of our large, strong defense. He isnt quick enough to beat us.

Their O-Line is HORRIBLY overrated and played very poorly last week.

Mark Brunell looks like he had his last hoorah last season (Then again, so did Bledsoe)

Their defense still cant generate a pass rush and isnt half the pass rushing team Jacksonville was.

We need to beat them by AT LEAST 2 scores because of these facts. If we dont, it will be slightly discouraging about the state of our team.

You forget that we're coached by a caveman. He only opens it up when players plead.

IMO, if we destroy this team, it wil be a miracle. I expect a low scoring affair

We shouldnt have many problems scoring on them. Their secondary is weak and very thin depth wise

Will you really be disappointed if we win by say 1 point? We'd be 1-1 and the Stinks would be 0-2. That would make me very happy.

Someone is going to end up 0-2...and it very well could be the Cowboys! Nothing can be gained by looking at who is playing, who is who, who does what, etc.

Look at what happened to the Eagles...

Remember, the RedStinks are just as hungry as the Cowboys...let's just hope that the Boyz are just a tad more hungry then those guys...

My worries are Bledsoe, and Parcells playcalling on offense...

On defense, I would REALLY like to see more fire from the players...

However, just be aware...us Cowboy fans might not sleep easy tonight...

Who's in?

Exactly! And that is why we lost several games last year. Parcells goes into his prevent defense and offense anytime we get a touchdown ahead. It is also the reason, barring a change in phillosophy, that we will not win by more than 10 tonight. OH, but we will win!

Remember back in 1989 when Dallas had a putrid team and were winless midway through the season? We were terrible. Do you remember the Commanders that season? They were a very good team.

We went to RFK Stadium and played them. Remember what happened? The worst team in football beat one of the best teams in football that day. How? Who knows. It was the only game Dallas won all season.

Don't expect anything in this rivalry. The only thing that is constant is that you never know what is going to happen. Washington will probably be playing like it has nothing to lose tonight. They'll be loose and with everyone already chalking this up as a loss for them, they won't have any pressure.

Dallas will have the pressure of it being at home... being favored... Bledsoe has the pressure of Romo hanging over his head... and us being expected to win because of all the Washington injuries.

If you expect us to walk away with it... then you're possibly setting yourself up for dissapointment. We might win big. We might barely win. We might lose. In a rivalry like this, I don't ever expect anything, because anything could happen.

Good post.....

Too many variables in football. Weather is always an equalizer.

I'm sure the Skins were thinking they'd beat us when we lost Roger one memorable Thanksgiving. I remember we beat them with Anthony Wright at QB. I remember going into Cincinnati with our SB 30 team. They had a no name QB (Jeff Blake) making his first start....we barely escaped that game.

I bet the Packers thought they had us in 94 (I think), when Jason Garrett started his first game. I bet they thought they had the game won we we were without Aikman, Irvin, AND Smith for the first time in '99.

No....I'm still sick to my gut for this game.

Is it just me, or does anyone else not have any fun during the games? Man, I'm sick three days before the game, and if we lose, I'm miserable all week.

Don't mistake me.....I love the Boys and won't miss a game...but I'm gonna have a heartattack one of these days....
