So many threads now on who we should root for..... The truth is we want to root for neither as it should be..... Neither idea is good...... We rather go with the Dynasty that is the Patriots, or an empty trophy case we long to throw in the faces of each and every Eagles fan. Both endings suck being they both one up us.... The Patriots actually do one up us in SB's won. The other just proves how off we are when a new HC can get them to the promise land in 2 years. Either way it will leave a bur in your saddle.
Personally I have to agree the Patriots are the team of the salary cap era. Done it time and time again. I hate to admit it, but the record speaks volume. My only issue is after so many years of no competition getting to the playoffs, when will divisions be mixed again to create better matches? Remember even our division had the Cardinals at one time.
Now the Patriots have the easiest division in all of football..... While the Bills did make a few SB's in the 90's they never won one.... Sadly they were not only beaten in points, but beaten like a child that stole something. Then there is the Jet's. Not really done anything since SB 3..... Broadway Joe is no longer., sadly to say..... Lastly is the Dolphins.... Not been to an AFC Championship since Shula.....
Come on man..... This division reeks of pure cattle dung. I know they are in the AFC but please let them see some team with heart in their 6 games of boredom within their division. Hell I would even ask to make them NFC East in exchange for the worst team record in the last 20 years in our division, and guess what folks, it is not us...... For the record it is our rivals, and while I love playing Indians and Cowboys, Could you image Patriots vs Cowboys twice a tear?..... It would make our front office wake up and smell the coffee brewing and just maybe work harder at being relevant with them in our division.
Regardless if they stay AFC or not, I just want the NFL to work on making more divisions like ours and the NFC North and South. The AFC has been rather lackluster for quite a few years other than an easy trail to the SB and facing a beat up team from the NFC..... Sorry but anyone making it from the NFC has to fight hell and brimstone to get there.... No wonder we are easy prey to teams that really don't have to fight much at all.....
