Wishful thinking about the Super Bowl

That is the exact thing I pointed out to my son. The Pats have such an easy division all they need to do is go 5-5 in their non-division games and they are guaranteed at least a 11-5 record. I know the Pats have won a crap load of games under Belicheat and Brady but it's a pretty tainted record considering their weak division. Talk about an easy road to the playoffs each year.

The patriots have lost the following number of games in the division: 2 in 2013, 2 in 2014, 2 in 2015, 1 in 2016, 1 in 2017. They've lost eight division games
( including four in Miami) in the last five years. Sure, the other AFC east teams aren't usually great. But this theory that they have it " easy" in the division is false.

We've made fun of the Eagles for years for being the Lord of the No Rings, but if they manage to win this SB without Wentz, imagine how many they are going to win with him! Gotta go with the Pats and hope father time stays undefeated with Brady and soon!

They go 5-1 in their division then 8-2 vs. the rest of the league every year. They about that every year because they pad their record going 5-1 or 6-0 then beating the rest of the patsies outside the AFC East and they own Pittsburgh. So really it's not just their own division. The division is a gimme. We don't go 5-1 every yr or 4-2 at worst and just get automatic bye weeks except for a couple damn years here and there were they scuffle into the playoffs.

The Patriots are just a good team otherwise they would either lose real bad in the Super Bowl get blown out and they wouldn't win all the Super Bowls they do win all the bowl games against the nfc's best have been closed very close so they're just a good team it isn't about their division or the AFC is bad or anything like that

the schedule is the schedule...I have no issues with how they do that (I actually think that it is fair how they rotate things around)...but, the goal is to get to the playoffs and go on a run...someone needs to beat the patriots in the AFC before I can buy what is being sold here...I guess the steelers have the same issue?

Barring a thrilling one point win by the Pats, the next best outcome would be the Eagles completely falling apart and suffering the biggest embarrassment in SB history.

I want the refs to take away a clock expiring last second touchdown that would have won the game. With a call no one has ever heard of before. I would drink their misery like a vampire. If they do win, life goes on.

I will keep it simple for you weak teams do not get to the Superbowl and win the Super Bowl and they surely don't win several Super Bowls just because they're in a supposedly weak division

Good point Steelers get Cleveland twice every year that's two games that are easy win and recently the Indianapolis games have been really easy so that's for easy wins per year

These are my two least favorite teams in the league for the last 17 + years (and yes I hate the Skins too but they are a joke). I can't root for either team to win. It will hurt my soul if the Eagles win but it may be the best thing for Jerry to see what happens when a team brings in a good coach. The Eagles winning with a good young coach in just a few years even with the Chip Kelly disaster will hopefully send a wake up call to Jerry. A "process" does not have to take seven plus years and counting to work and if it does then it is not working.

Either way I will not watch the game even for the commercials. I see no need to support the NFL the way things are being run right now.

I really hope the Patriots destroy them into oblivion - I'd rather anyone win over the Eagles, giants, or Washington. Screw that. I want to turn the game off by halftime and never think about this abomination again. Never!
