With how poorly we played as a team last night do you really think any other QB wins that game last night?

Stupid post because no one can answer a could of, would of, should of fantasy type of post.

But trying to use this post to try to save Dak from taking the blame is also stupid.

The damage is done, just another chapter in a long book filled with failures called Dak the QB

Mahomes could win that game. He has, many times. There are others.

A healthy Romo could maybe have won that game. It would have been a barn burner.

Dak doesn't have the pedigree for big games.
we prob score more but the defense was getting trained on, 49ers basically let off the gas in the 4th

So basically what this boils down too, if the D is not scoring, we are in trouble with this O. It’s been shown this season already. So basically the other teams O, if we commit an turnover just stop them from scoring on that play because they will either kick a FG or not score at all.

The run game alone would have been a huge problem. We got 1 to 2 yards per carry, while San Fran was getting 6 to 7.

Should have taken an O-lineman and an actual RB in the past draft.

The reality is we keep thinking we are one or two players away, but every year there is ALWAYS some massive hole that never gets addressed.

The problem starts in the FO and trickles down, hence 30 years of failure.

We said we were going to be a running team this year. Instead of O-line, we took a TE who barely sees the field and a mini-rb who is averaging like 1 yard a carry. Our number 1 pick is so invisible we don't know if he even played.

Dak was terrible, as was the whole team. You can just see the difference in the FOs though. 49ers made a bold trade for McCaffery who has been putting up TD for TD for them. Meanwhile we trade for bargain players who might sound nice on paper, but make a limited impact. Eagles found a player who looks like he will end up in the HOF in the draft a year after being in the superbowl. Meanwhile, our first rounder can't even get on the field.

Jerry will never hire a coach that brings the proper accountability. Just like the 49ers traded away Trey Lance or the Eagles traded away Wentz, would that ever happen on the Cowboys? Is the Qb or any 'star' player ever under enough pressure to perform or risk getting traded?

Dak was certainly a problem last night. He played like crap. The team got whipped from top to bottom and SF exposed a lot of weaknesses. That Cardinals game is being circulated around the league like a VHS porno amongst teenagers. Now there’s tape from SF to go around. It’s going to be a tough season from here on out without an every down RB, poor interior defense play, and an average QB.

Dak is just the scapegoat for those problems just like Romo was. Dak is the easiest person for everyone to blame and while he isn't good there a bigger issues with this team. There is plenty of blame to go around and it doesn't stop at number 4.
the whole team is the scapegoat for your Dak apologies. Plenty of QBs know how to win in a gunfight and pull their team up. Josh Allen does it all the time. Dak goes into an interception loop. Stop the bellyaching apologies...

Professional quarterbacks only need a step. He was sailing balls everywhere.
Show me the open WRs.

Also, totally asinine point if you're going to mention Romo, who threw junk balls every single game of his career lol

Early on, the defense held up. But the offense had 8 yards and 0 first downs in the second quarter.

That led to the deluge.

Well they got next to zero rest because of our mentally slow quarterback.
The 49ers marched down the field to get an easy score on the opening drive.

Dak did them no favors, but to act like he's the main reason the defense stunk is false. 49ers had open players and were averaging 5+ yard carries all night long.

sort of, they did give up 21 before the half, thats terrible.
They did make a few stops and got back the fumble we lost but still. This defense is the strength of this team and they played way better last year against them, this game they barely showed up

They were there every play, but he's a one-read QB with a scatter gun.

Should be pretty easy for you to point them all out then.

Nope. Go ahead and show me all the open WRs that he missed.

I'll wait.

The idea that Tony Romo, of all people, wins that game is one of the dumber things I've ever read.
Just watch the tape and take a good hard look at Purdy...a 7th round Mr. Irrelevant made the throws in a tight window. Purdy was efficient...did not make errors...all while the All- American 8yr Vet couldn't.....DAK is slow, slow to ready the defenses, slow on his progressions and often late with his throws....it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the regression....DAK is not the young rookie QB we all loved....he is now more of the old and slow Drew Bledsoe type.

With how poorly we played as a team last night do you really think any other QB wins that game last night?

It depends. Could another quarterback have led an offense better than these possession results?
  • Punt (50 second drive)
  • Punt (less than two minute drive)
  • Fumble (running back | nine second drive)
  • Punt (90 second drive)
  • Touchdown (fifth possession | five and a half minute drive)
  • Punt (45 second drive)
  • Ran out of time (50 seconds | doesn't matter)
  • Field goal (Kicker is the most dependable player on the 2023 roster. The... kicker... | 3-minute drive)
  • Interception (79 seconds drive)
  • Interception (14 seconds drive)
  • Interception (69 seconds drive)
  • Punt (3 minutes and 55 seconds of futility drive)
  • Ran out of time (104 seconds of who cares?)
One thing is true if the answer is yes. The Dallas defense would not have been on the field 61% of the time, may have been more rested and effective, and San Francisco's offense would have been on the field fewer drives.

Would Dallas had still lost? Probably, but it would not have been 42-10.

Pathetic.

Dak was one of many problems last night. No run game to speak of, defense repeatedly punched in the mouth, dumb penalties, team wasn't prepared to play. Defensive scheme that allowed receivers to run free all night long, no pressure on Purdy to speak of. We sat back and took to from SF instead of being aggressive. I think SF is in our collective head now. From the HC down to the towel boys. It is a road block that we will have to figure out to get where we want to go. I don't see it happening this year, unless SF suffers some injuries.

You just don't know the game, and your Cowboys bed sheets won't allow you to learn.

You're why everybody makes fun of Cowboys fans. And they're right.

To answer your question. Yes a better QB wins that game. No question. Because it starts with the system. Cowboys have the weapons to play with SF but they are dumbing down the system to try and hide Dak's deficiencies. A good QB can win that game.
