I'm sure the staff wont say to Austin, your back at number 4.....or will they? you think Hurd will be moved to number 4?

I think i remember wade b4 the start of the season say the number 3 was Hurd's..maybe i read wrong.....

Will Crayton be moved to number 3, and austin number 2?

I don't know, you all have great insight, so tell me what you all think will happen?

Good question. I was wondering the same thing. Personally I would bring Hurd back in slowly and maybe keep Austin ahead of him for this game, at least. I love both of these guys, but right now if it was my decision I'd go with the hot one and that's Miles. Who knows what the coaches decide. We just have to trust them.

Not sure, but that's a great problem to have. Miles and Hurd will be contributors this year, as for Stanback.....well, just can't stay healthy and he's trying to convert to WR, not good. Plus he lost the #1 KR job to my man Felix.

I think Hurd is the #3 still.

really? why do you think that? sems like the coaching staff really likes Miles

i dont think anything is gonna change its all working out how bout we just leave that way..???

I think Crayton continues to get the start, but in reality, Crayton, Hurd, and Miles might end up getting an even number of plays, depending on what the defense is giving us and what Garrett wants to do for that play. Basically, reciever 2a, 2b, and 2c.

Hurd can't stretch a defense like Austin can. I think that becomes the deciding factor in him becoming the #4.
But if Crayton continues to disappear like he did against GB, Hurd may get some shots filling his role; possession receiver.

#4 like he should be, although hurd could push crayton for the #3

When healthy Austin will go back to number 4. The only thing Austin brings is running the deep routes and that is it. EVen his deep routes were not exactly good routes he was lucky he got replacements that were ate up.

Hurd knows all the reciever positions and for that reason alone he will go back to #3 when healthy.

However, you can argue that #3 and #4 is not much of a differnece as they will both see significant playing time.

Niether of those two guys can touch PC so PC will stay at two.

Austin had a nice game and I am glad he did be he has a long ways to go with his route running. He still didn't look at top speed either.

I think it will depend on the play call.

Hurd can play all 3 WR positions so that may get him in a few more plays. Well see.

I'd like to see a play or two involving 4 wide!TO,Crayton,Hurd and Austin.
Now cover that!

Hurd is #4. Next question. No seriously.. I agree with the 2a 2b 2c assesment.

Miles Austin is on a roll.

You don't sit a player who is on a roll.

It has been implied by Wade (and inferred me) that Hurd is No. 3.

But in my mind, with the combination of Austin's roll and Hurd's rustiness, that we'll see more of Austin than of Hurd. And more Austin than of Stanback. And Austin as a No. 2 at times to spell Crayton.

Hurd picked a bad time to be injured. Also, Stanback.
Austin took opportunity by the horns and has emerged as Crayton's chief rival for playing time.

That's exactly how I see it as well.

I think we work him back in slowly. Start as the #4. If he can prove himself, move up to #3. I have a feeling that Austin may be able to push Crayton for the #2 spot, so learning that #3 spot may be key for Hurd b/cI think next year Dallas looks for a legit/power #2 to compliment Owens
