With Hurd Back, were does that leave him?

Austin and Hurd are both #3s. They both are situational guys that provide a different look for our offense. Hurd grinds out the tough short routes and Austin will be for the medium to longer range throws. Depending upon what our offense wants to do will dictate who is on the field as the 3 guy.

Miles Austin is on a roll.

You don't sit a player who is on a roll.

It has been implied by Wade (and inferred me) that Hurd is No. 3.

But in my mind, with the combination of Austin's roll and Hurd's rustiness, that we'll see more of Austin than of Hurd. And more Austin than of Stanback. And Austin as a No. 2 at times to spell Crayton.

Hurd picked a bad time to be injured. Also, Stanback.
Austin took opportunity by the horns and has emerged as Crayton's chief rival for playing time.

thats not even remotely possible or even an issue.....
