Screw Tony Romo, and screw anyone that defends him. He was awful last night and it never should have gotten to a point where we lost because of two horrible plays by our defense late. This game pretty much proved that I and others were right about him, and once again after this stinker he is pretty much assured another horrid december no matter what he does against the Eagles. And we are going to be sitting home for the playoffs this year it looks like. Awesome. What a great time to be a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Well, at least I won that signature bet with DallasEast. :(

In all seriousness... Giving Romo the huge contract and the keys to the Ferrari without offering a competing driver is an insane move...

Kind of like owens drop off after his huge contract?:D

Just keep in mind how this team looked with Brad Johnson in there. Romo INDEED played like crap - but he didn't give up 2 consecutive plays for 150 yards.

With all due respect Sarge, Brad Johnson does not equal competition. We need another competent QB in there that gives us the ability to push Romo on the field. Add to that a different QB coach and a HC with jewels and you have the recipe for seeing Romo possibly take the next step. Otherwise, he may never get out of traction.

A couple of weeks ago I was crazy to everyone when I said "Romo can't win the big game". I'm guessing my thoughts are a little less crazy to everyone now. Sure... He didn't give up back to back 80 yard scampers. It just took him 3.5 quarters to wake up and realize there was a game on the line.

I don't know how many 3 & outs I saw last night during the first three quarters but they were numerous. Many of them included an abundance of missed throws on Romo's part. Some of that is Oline but I am not naive enough to sit here and blame Romo's incompetence on the Oline alone. He just flat out missed a number of throws.

Improve the Oline in the offseason, overhaul this fraud of a coaching staff, and draft or sign a young talented QB to push Romo.

It's all relative. Romo needs TO and TO needs Romo...

However, more importantly, they need RW11 to get open against cornerbacks of lesser caliber. I'm sorry but Frank Walker should not be shutting down RW11 one on one all game long. Frank freaking Walker..... Who the **** is that?

Then when RW11 makes a little 4 yard catch on a WR screen he jumps up and starts break dancing like he really did something... What an idiot.

Dude.. News Flash: Frank Walker shut you down all game... Just make the catch, get your clown *** back to the huddle, and go try to get open consistently.

Romo don't need owens.

The rest I agree with

Exactly. It's not all on Romo.

See post #7 in this thread. Here. I'll help ya.

Most people expected Romo to perform better Decembers than Quincy Carter, Ryan Leaf, Chad Hutchinson, Drew Henson, and Drew Bledsoe.

Most of us expect Romo to play to the 60+ million dollar potential that the team has bestowed upon his shoulders and in his pockets.

The worst thing about all this is.....Romo doesn't suck enough to lose his job. He just sucks when it matters. So, we will never be rid of him and we will never go anywhere with him either. Ugh.
