You sold me n itExactly my point.......unless Graham or even Tmac falls, this kid can have the most impact from day one IMO.

Jihaad Campbell LBer.........Eberflus loves Lbers and LVE proved Jerry isn't afraid of drafting one with a 1st rounder. Couple things;
** Unless an unexpected top 5 player falls
** 3 mocks had this kid around 13-10 ( one had the 49ers drafting him at 11)
We have seen all world athletes like Bruce Carter for example struggle cause of this.This…I’d prefer Schwesh a round later for this exact reason.
If instincts isn’t a positive for a linebacker I’m typically not going to be very high on them.
In my mock I got Miami taking him @ the next pick after us. And if you have played with any mocks....there is a window of players of about 25 that are all the same caliber. We are the last team to pick in that 1st tier window. I wouldn't be opposed if he was the pick....since the LBs available in the draft and free agency are thin.Maybe in a trade down…but 12 is too rich.
On both sides of the ballA stout dline can mask a lot of stuff on the back 7. Starts up front. Let's get that fixed first.
LBr in FA isn’t thin…the Raiders LBr is a stud.In my mock I got Miami taking him @ the next pick after us. Jack was a 2x All-American who checked in 15 lbs heavier than Jihaad and out-tested him in every drill except the 40 (while having a faster 10-yard split). He was a monster prospect.People are overthinking Campbell. His processing is fine. He's legitimately the best lb prospect in the past few years. No, Jack Campbell wasn't a better prospect
10 yard split comment isn't even true but regardless I'm not interested in a back and forth. You'd get more then a 3rd trading from 12-20. It should net you 400 points, which is a 2nd rounder. In no way do you trade Parsons.Honestly beginning to feel like both trading down and trading Micah is the way to go.
For instance:
We trade to around 20 for a 3rd. Meanwhile, we also trade Micah for a mid-high 1 and two 2s
That gives us two picks in each of the first 3 rounds this year, and an extra 2nd rounder next year.
1st: Take Jihaad Campbell (to replace Micah) and best OT or DL available.
2nd: Best RB or WR available (e.g. TreVeyon Henderson or Savion Williams), and take another lineman - on the opposite side to the guy picked in the 1st round.
3rd: Again, RB or WR (whichever one wasn’t picked in the second) and another DT for good measure.
Use our four 5th rounders to beef up the secondary, and maybe to add a MLB to replace Kendricks, if we can’t get someone in free agency.
[Also, we should at the v least take 1 good OL in FA, even if it’s simply someone known to our coaches previously: like Hernandez, the Cardinals RG, who has worked with Klayton Adams.]
