Hope JJ is able to, as he has said in the past, take care of "glareing needs" via FA prior to the draft, so the draft can fall as it may...BPA

I want our first 2 picks to be a pass rusher and another OL to replace Free or Leary. Beef it up even more. Then I want to emphasize the secondary and some more d line. Another LB would not hurt since Lee is so injury prone.

For me, if we are going to draft a QB, it needs to be someone serious. No more projects and no goofy picks like McGee. To me, if you aren't getting one early, then don't even waste your time and waste a pick.

This is what makes me nervous. We have not successfully drafted a QB since Aikman. And it took us a top pick to get that done.

We sort of fell into Romo.

I know it will tick some people off but if we don't address the position other wise and he's there, Melvin Gordon.

He would've broke Dickerson record THIS year with our line. He can actually make guys miss and take it to the house. Without leading the league in lost fumbles.

We're not one or two defensive pieces away. With Rod Marinelli gone, who knows what the defense will bring? I say take best player available. Last thing we need to do is draft defense 'just cuz'. If the BPA is on offense, I say go offense again. I wouldn't mind fortifying our strengths. The cap doesn't allow you to be dominant on both sides of the ball. You choose one side as your primary side and hope the other side is decent enough.

What? This team is absolutely 2 or 3 defensive pieces away from being superbowl favorites. Romo has 1 more good year, we better give him a defense to work with. The offense is fine. Don't fix it. If we need to trade up for the best pass rusher, do it. Go all in for number 6. Get someone who can cover and someone to get after quarterbacks and we're in business.

In total agreement with everything you said except I would double down on DL with the first two picks. I especially agree with your comment on taking a QB in the first round at some point. The way it looks, we're going to be drafting mid to lower tier between now and when we pick Romo's successor so that doesn't bode well for us unless we find ourselves in a QB heavy draft in the next 2 - 3 years. Ideally, I would be looking to spend that 1st round pick on a QB in 2016. But something tells me we're going to have to trade up considerably to get a blue chipper. Now since that seems to make sense, to me at least, it will never happen that way. But that's how I'm looking at it now.

Best player available at that spot. Or, a QB..

I do agree with getting some help on Defense Line and Offensive Line,

But, they have to get serious about thinking about a replacement for Romo.. Someone to groom. I'd say Romo has two, three years left.

It is time.

If I'm so pretty, why am I available?

We need to get more talent on the DL. Hopefully that will match up pretty well with BPA. I'd even take another OL if a good player fell to us.

Not a knock on Romo, but we need his future replacement.

Besides, the last QB we took in the first round was also from UCLA and he turned out alright...

This clown posse ain't drafting a QB in first round.
Probably not at all.
