What are talking about? We don't have Durant, carter and McClain, we probably have money for just one.we need to draft a good LB.

Durant and McClain would be had for cheaper side. Someone may fall in love with Carter and offer him money that we can't.

If above is the case then we already have Durant, McClain, Lee and Hitchens fighting for three spots with odd man as top reserve. Carter would be nice but maybe committing too much $$ here.

Durant has been on IR 2 years in a row,we just can't rely on Ro and Durant when it counts.

My bad. Thought we had at least two of them under contract. In that case, take best defensive player available in the 1st round including LB and the rest like I said.

I'm all for the BPA method.

But if Free and Leary come back they don't need to spend a 1st.

Between Lee, Durant, Mcclain, Carter, Hitchens I wouldn't drop a first with some combination of them.

DE needs improving but you dropped a 2nd & 3rd last year and another top pick seems a lot.

No way go CB unless someone crazy ponies up a pick for Claibourne.

Is wee Beast comes back I don't believe it's a need.

So I'm thinking free safety or defensive tackle. If you could get a plug in a play guy with that pick it would be huge.

But that Martin pick was so good I just can't see it.

Just please don't trade up.

If Romo has 2 or 3 yrs left, that means Dallas would have 1 year to see what they have in a QB before they have to either pay him alot of money for one yr or pay him even more to keep him long term. Or lose him and start all over again after 1 yr with a new QB? Sign a Vet in FA

Not true. 1st round guys are on a 5 year deal. So 2-3 years of Romo means 2-3 years of seeing what you got.

Actually its 4. the 5th yr is an option. Cam Newton was optioned and is going to be paid 15mil in 2015. How much do you think that will be in later down the line?

DeForest Buckner, Danny Shelton, or Malcolm Brown.

Also, I had the privilege of listening to and meeting Gary Patterson today. I wouldn't expect him to say good things about his player but he sold me on Paul Dawson. I came back to my hotel room and watched some highlights and I think he has Bobby Wagner-like potential. That's my second round hope from now til draft time.

We shouldn't use our first round pick on a CB, RB, or QB.

BPA on defense. We need someone who can immediately make an impact next year.

I say we go DB or DT if there's a top flight one available. Not sure about names right now because I don't know who's gonna be available but those are the positions I hope we get.

That should say "I wouldn't expect him to say anything but good things..."

Leary and Beasley are RFA so they both will be here next year. Can't wait to see more Beasley.

So you agree it's 5 years?
