If Pitts and Surtain are at 10 then the question is who is higher on the Dallas draft board. IMO, it would be Pitts. Sure we have two very good TEs but Pitts is a high bred and such a talent that you don't pass on. Dallas could and would easily trade back into the late 1st and get probably Farley or Newsome both of who also fit Quinn's scheme.

Another item of interest at least to me is that Surtain, Horn, Farley and Newsome graded out the same as Diggs did last year. Not saying we should wait until the second round to go corner but none of those four are going to remind me of Richard Sherman or Deion Sanders either. Now Dallas normally does not trade away a future 1st but if the right situation comes up then it is possible. I mean if you could take Pitts at #10 and trade next year's #1 and #44 this year and most likely a player or two like a Gallup WR and/or C. Williams OG to the Jags for #23 and #33 if Farley and/or Newsome are there would you do it. Just saying I would. Then I would grab Farley and maybe get Moehrig S also with those two picks.

If, and it’s a big if... pitts is there at 10.. you definetely would get offers to move back a few spots. You take the trade down, draft barmore and fix the run d. If you can’t stop the run, it is demoralizing for a defense and you simply can’t win in the nfl.... the second thing it does is keeps pitts away from Philly and the giants.

If we trade down, we may have lost both Surtain and Horn. We have no 2nd corner. Is Newsome considered a day 1 NFL starter? If so, trade down for an extra 2. Then try to get back into 1st round to take the best free safety.

A rather frustrating scenario that very well could play out.
