It really does depend on how the rest of the year plays out, we do have plenty of needs like a true dominant 1tech - which will take a high draft pick. A true strong safety, which again would take a high draft pick. I agree, another WR is needed - someone who at the college level runs good crisp routes (wanted Cooper Cupp last draft, so someone of that ilk). Gonna have to add depth at L.B, maybe corner depth. If Rico cannot come back this year, we will need to spend another high pick on a legit T.E. ..... more needed that picks held.
Will be interesting how they prioritize positions going into next year - but again, a lot will be determined by what happens the rest of this season.

QB - I want better than this.
LB - Atrocious group. Worst shape I've ever seen here.
TE - I know. I'll go bleep myself right after this.
WR - Must get the offense non Dez dependent.
OL - Whether it's RT or OG. Fortify the group with a better player than Green or Cooper.

They would of Romo was still throwing those back shoulder and high point balls to him.

He's as good as it gets at making those catches.

Dak isn't perfect, but he's our guy. What kind of WR would be better suited for Dak?

We have so many damn needs. I'd be find with: DE, LB, DT, TE, WR, SS, FS, OT or OG in the first.

With the way the coaches utilize the "talent" at the skill positions, I don't think it will make much of a difference whether we draft a WR or TE or not.

It's a stagnant, boring, methodical, predictable offense. No creativity, whatsoever. If the base set of 5-10 plays don't work, and if we can't beat the man in front of us, we suck. No infusion of talent will change the system.
I agree 100%.

I want the player who will impact the team the most. If I have to name a guy, be realistic about it and explain myself, I’m selecting Da’Ron Payne. I’m done with small, quick defensive tackles. I want me a couple big, quick DT’s who stuff RB’s for lunch and push the pocket down Aaron Rodgers’s throat.

With so many holes and the expectation that this front office will go brain dead frugal again and sign some more Nolan Carroll types, we could again take the BPA at a variety of positions - DT, OL, WR, TE, S, LB even DE - with our Top 3 picks in the draft.

I like Payne as well.

I've heard good things about Andrew Brown from UVA, seems to be garnering 1st round talk. Have any opinions on him?

Brown was a top-five national recruit coming out of high school who has never quite lived up to the hype . He has played much better this year, mostly because Mendenhall rides him constantly. I have heard that Brown really frustrates his coach because he has so much ability But lacks the drive to take advantage of it. He has all the tools, including prototypical defensive end size. It would not surprise me if he ended up being a perennial double digit Sack guy. It also would not surprise me to see him out of the league in a couple years. If I’m taking a Virginia guy, I’m taking Micah Kiser. He is 100% football player. Quin Blanding in the second round would be a fantastic addition to the team as well. Kiser and Blanding are both tackling machine. They were one and two and tackles in the ACC last year and are both right up near the top again this season. Kiser also has five sacks in five games so far this year, and he’s a middle linebacker. Blanding is a rangy 6-3 safety, not great speed but fantastic instincts. The Real pro prospect in Charlottesville may be Olamide Zaccheus, a 5-9 WR/RB Who reminds me a whole lot of Tyreek Hill. I really really hope he stays in the school, but if he doesn’t…

A lot more than you asked for. Sorry.

He’ll be a 43 defense DE at the next level. He’s got the prototypical tools for it.

His size makes me think he'd need to play the anchor (strongside end) spot which means he'd be at the same spot as Taco. He's almost the exact same height and weight as Tyrone Crawford.

If we go D Line early, I want a true rush end and/or a true 1Tech.

He’s a better pass rusher than Crawford, Much more of an edge player.
