If the Cowboys can't beat the Deadskins with Portis out of the lineup this team is definetly finished for the year.

How pitiful are you? begging for a win over a team because they dont have Portis.what a joke. Portis is not a great player. yet wew make him sound like Jim Brown.

On "Commanders Report" tonight, all four panelists picked the Skins to win. Of course, Sonny picks them every week.

They still have Shaun Alexander and Rock Cartwright.

If Dallas is going to win this game, they are going to have to put together the best offensive, defensive, and special teams game that they have had all year.

We'll see how bad they want it.

It's about time for a complete game, something they haven't had in some time going all the way back to last season. I hope we're all smiling after this one. It has been a while. Even victories have led to anguish lately.

I don't know...faith? Is that against the rules of being a fan or something? If they lose to someone earlier in the year they can't beat them later?

Someone better go back and tell every team whose ever done that, in the history of the NFL, that it's apparently hilarious, unheard of, and not allowed.

If only the Giants believed this on the third go around last year. :lmao2:

Exactly. Guess someone forgot to give them that memo as well.

I can see it now:

From the Desk of the Commissioner:

From now on a team winning the first meeting between two teams in any season will be granted immediate and unconditional wins for all additional meetings in that season. Games will be played for statistical (and betting) purposes only. In the case where the losing team has the audacity to win any later games the scores will be reversed and the win will still be counted for the winner of the first meeting.

LOL. This is the NFL. You can live without your running back and still win. Quarterback is a whole different story. I'd agree with you if you Campbell was out even though Collins is a solid backup. But with Portis out and with Betts and Alexander? I don't expect this game to be any easier.

1) Because we're the better football team.
2) Because unlike week 4, we are not overlooking them. Impossible to take a team for granted in a game this important, especially having lost to them.
3) We have 4 significant additions to this team:
* Newman - he's now healthy, unlike week 4.
* Koiser - missed week 4.
* Spencer - missed week four
* Williams - traded for after week six.
4) Because this team has been playing with leg irons this past month and is ready to explode. Skins could not pick a worse week to rematch us.
5) Because your best WR Moss will be less than 100%
6) Because your offensive MVP. The player your whole O starts with will not play.
7) Because the player you're looking to pick up the Portis slack has like 2 td passes in the last month WITH PORTIS. What do you think he does without him?
8) Because DT Montgomery is out.
9) Because Springs is not 100%. That's could be a killer in the TO matchup.
10) Because the Skins have lost 2 of the last 3 and have not looked good since week 5 when they beat the Eagles. All with far fewer injuries(valid reasons) than the Cowboys have had in the same time.
11) Because history has clearly demonstrated that upsets happen much less frequently when both teams have been given extra time to prepare for a game. Extra prep time equals better team winning.
12) Because you're a Commander fan POS and your mother sucks big fat elephant trunks.

STILL LAUGHING!

1) This will be decided tomorrow night on the field.
2) Weak answer to say you overlooked us.
3) Koiser and Williams absolutely change the game in your favor.
4) We didn't pick the week, and both are rested, best week possible to decide the question in 1)
5) Its week 11, both teams have some injuries
6) This one hurts
7) Ditto
8) But Jason Taylor is back.
9) Overall we have the 4th ranked D, we will give up some plays, but not enough for you all to win.
10) Actually we have lost 2 of the last 4 your Boys have lost 3 of the last 4, and one of ours was against the #1 D, and with our top producers definitely hurt
11) Again see #1, the field will decide.
12) Proving once again a fan will say whatever to support his team

May the better team win. No excuses!!

Good post.

#2 Is not a weak.
Teams riding high are often guilty of eating the cheese. After week three with consecutive wins over the Eagles and Packers(the consensus choices at that time to give us the most trouble) it was impossible not to get too high on ourselves. It's human nature.
What do you think happened to the skins after consecutive road wins over the Cowboys and Eagles?
#9 You can't possibly believe this. Even if you truely believed the skins were better than the Cowboys, you can't still think you're winning without Portis.

anything can happen. we beat the bucs with brad johnson. are we better than tampa? hell no. so there is a chance for everything. i still think they win, but we have a strong finish to 9-7. something to build on next year.

Most teams can. Are you sure you're a Commanders fan? Do you follow your team? Portis was making a run at MVP. Your whole offense started with him and the ground game.
Skins would be in much better shape for Sunday night with a healthy Portis and Collins at QB.
Betts is far from 100%.

Tell me about it. All I know is that if EveryoneElse jumped off a bridge, I'd only hope ZeroBuritto would follow.
