Owner says he supports the coach at a press conference + players meeting = coach will get fired.

Come on guys you like life around here the way it is, so do I.
If we don't get our act together and start winning we're going to lose this coaching staff and actually have to produce!
Meeting over.

Meeting with Garrett, Linehan, Marinelli and Witten walks by (Witten overhears Garrett):

Garrett: "I don't know what else to do, we suck."
(approving/agreeing nods from Linehan and Marinelli)
Witten: "You are a putz Garrett, I got this. Does anyone know where Sean is right now? Forget it, gonna go talk to the offense until I find Lee for the defense. You three stay here and clap."
(mutters "idiots" before walking away)

Romo was always better in the no huddle when he was the one calling the plays. I don't think it's a coincidence that we are near the top of the league in scoring in the last minutes of the first half. We r running no huddle and calling the plays from the field.

Romo always seemed to do better when the play broke down and he had to improvise. Dak does this well when he has to get outside the pocket and make something happen outside the original scope of the play. The system is not good if we r not dominating in the running game. Somehow, the fans are the only ones that recognize this.

It's amazing how you hardly ever see guys wide open on our offense. When watching other teams, most of the time somebody is almost always wide open..... Especially when playing against us

Should have done this before the (must win) Philly game, although I doubt that it would have affected the outcome...

would absolutely make my decade to see Witten get right in the clapper's face and utterly embarrass, humiliate, and downright disrespect him on national television

Some of you folks harbor some seriously bizarre disdain for a guy you've never met, and in all reality don't know much about.

Obviously Witten has too much class and is too much of a professional to do something like that anyhow. Weird fantasy nonetheless though, IMO.

Players only meetings are for losing teams. The Gents just had one folks. They are also when the HC has lost the room.
