would absolutely make my decade to see Witten get right in the clapper's face and utterly embarrass, humiliate, and downright disrespect him on national television on one of the season's most marquee games

Of course, if Dez did that, he'd get called a thug and a malcontent.

"Don't you ****ers embarrass me today, I got family here"
You KNEW we were disfunctional when you signed up!
You can introduce me first, the most charming, erudite and sophisticated one here and with a Yorkshire accent. The others you can refer as "the rest."

Players meeting may sound korny, but they can be very beneficial. Witten can provide the leadership that Garret and Jerry are lacking!
Blimey!
They are korny. It is as if the players suddenly want to be considered adults, which in itself, ruffian, is disturbing.

Don't know if he is a malcontent. He may have reformed, but, by his youth, yes, a thug. To deny it is ridic.

Not talking about his prior life. I am talking about if he did what the guy I quoted wants Witten to do, the reaction here wouldn't be favorable.

You can call it desperation, a bad sign, whatever you want, but I have no problem with an established and leader like Witten calling a meeting. If our "head coach" & his assistants can't motivate this team someone needs to try. A future Hall of Famer just might be able to do something the coaching staff can't seem to do.

It is probably not about "motivation" in a clap clap clap way but moreso about these players doing their jobs and being accountable for each other.

Just goes to show you that if this was necessary then the coaches are not making that happen.

You are most certainly correct in that.

This might be 82’s last season and I’m certain that was part of his speech. He has laid it on the line for more than a decade and wants to win now. We know he won’t quit on the team.

He'll never quit on the team. It's just too bad him and Romo didn't even see a frickin NFC title game. The AZ cardinals have made two championship games ( including a SB) since O Donnell gift wrapped SB 30. That's just atrocious.
