Witten has been average at best

Give the guy a break he was a new father last week. Those sleepless nights will catch up to ya. :D

I'll bet my bottom dollar Witten will have a big day today.

he also stays in to block most of the time, don't expect big numbers

I know he's a extremely good player and has great potential as we have already seen. But, yes there is a but. This year he's playing outside of his usual self. He's dropped quite a few balls and when he does catch one he seems to completely stop in his tracks. Like he's thinking to much.

What do you guys think?

I think he's dropped two balls in 3 games, he probably wont drop another one all year...and when you throw only 20 times like we did last week, there's only so many catches you can get...

he is fine and will be in the probowl again...

SI.com lists the number of times the receiver was the target of a pass. Witten isn't seeing any fewer opportunities this season than last. Last season he was thrown to 89 times, this season he's on a pace to be thrown to 90 times.

The difference is he's only caught about half the balls thrown to him, while he usually catches about 75%.

This % will go back up to normal, and he will end up with 60-70 catches.
