The defense isn't that far away. The DT's are decent. They'll draft a couple DE's and sign a middling DE because there is no top-notch DE's available via free agency.

Just depends on what they do with their own FAs. They could end up with a lot of holes if they aren't active in keeping their own.

It takes a lot of effort just to get to where we were today and then to waste it like we did has to be tough to even think about doing it all over again just for the oppportunity you already had.

Of course, but most of the guys that are going to be free agents aren't exactly top-echelon. Yeah, if they leave there will be holes but they won't be massive holes.

There are no parallels between our team and any other team including the 90s Cowboys.
