Actually, I underestimated it.
His worst time was 4.75 and his core time was 4.65. So much faster than Dak.
pretty amazing. But that was long ago.

Most other sites copy from that one or just use the actual time as the middle time and add an estimated plus/minus.

The unofficial times are hard to find and are rarely space evenly around the official time. At the combine there is one official time and one unofficial time but that unofficial time is hard to find. Walterfootball records both the official and unofficial times but most sites don't have the unofficial time.

Heard this on undisputed this morning. I don't think it's as outlandish as you may think despite the age difference. Sharpe was confident (not in an arrogant way) he could beat Witten in a 40.

I would LOVE to see this. I tweeted Jerry and the Cowboys. Hopefully it can happen and proceeds can go to charity or something.

Yes, there's no doubt that Sharpe was and probably still is a superior athlete. If he had combined that with Witten's understanding of how to play the position, there's no telling what kind of numbers he would have put up. Some guys just get by on being the better athlete and don't put in the work on the details of the game because of their natural skills. IMO, that was Shannon Sharpe.

Not saying that he was a bad player, far from it, but he was not as good as he could have been if he had had a Witten work ethic.
